Hardware keyboard will only be used if you want the benefits of a larger viewing area while typing.

Samsung has the patent for the curved screen.

Makes me wonder if this will be another BlackBerry/samsung collaboration (the secure tablet was released earlier this year)

Keyboard is capacitive btw. Swiping gestures work with gloves on.

Its the touch screen that's used as the sliding mechanism , not the keyboard.

On screen search symbol suggests the phone will also have a virtual keyboard.

This means the slider will function as a flagship all touch device while the keyboard is concealed.

Keyboard looks small enough for single-handed use though.

I guess this new slider phone will be in the repair shop often, either to fix the glass from consumers dropping the device often because it will be so top heavy. Or the broken slider device because the large display will act as a lever and put a lot of pressure on the slider mechanism.

It would be a better looking device if it looked like the Nokia's E7 form factor. I don't buy BlackBerry anyways.

I really hope it is what it seams to be, a modern upgraded reiteration of the 9800/9810, in my opinion the best Blackberry form factor ever, I still use the 9810 until to date and this is exactly what I've been waiting for to upgrade.

Having said that, I'd still buy the S6 over any Blackberry any day of the week :)

First people whine that there aren't enough tactile physical keyboard devices (which I actually agree), then I read GSMArena's full-potato commentators saying it's the "end" of Blackberry?

GG I'm going to space people.
