To be honest here, I could care less how many phones any company sells, to me my phone is a tool to help me with my day to day tasks, it will change my day to day life if Apple, Samsung, HTC, SONY, or any other vendor sells a bazillion phones, at the end of the day when we take out that phone to do what we need to do we don't say wow it's a Samsung or Apple, all it is is a tool, that's it, nothing more nothing less.

Its a quarter. That took them how many years to reach one quater like this? And you claim it's because of quality?
You do realize this is only per phone not all phones right? IPhone as two phones has a higher per phone sales because it's two phones versus millions of others. But those minions of others make up 80% sales compared to 11% for iOS.
And you do realize that the only reason their sales rose is because they finally released larger HD displays and a phablet right?
You think another 4 inch qHD device would have increased large sales? Of course not. And all of you factually know this. The question is how many are willing to accept it or admit it

and really only talks about one component mostly... Which yes we all know they use a good SoC....
Is your side tracking way of denying the full point of the entire device they made? Without answering the million dollar question even?
How is it they have 11% global sales and Android has 80% but the profit number literally flips?

Unfortunately when you bring a new phone out every other week like Samsung. people get bored. Iphone have common sense bring 1 new one each year and the hype sells the device. So hence why they are top maker.

Samsung has a dual display flip phone that is basically equivalent to a Note 3.
But no keyboard phones really surpass the Droid 4 or Captivate glide. And the droid updates very severely incremental with some down grades

This doesn't mean that Apple is beating Android; Android market share is increasing. It actually doesn't mean much at all for Apple. It means that other Android manufacturers are beating Samsung.

I used to look at Android big screen phones when I have my iPhone 5 but ever since I upgraded to iPhone 6+, not a single Android phone pique my interest. There are some good Android phones like S6, Note 4, Chinese phones but they all have some fatal flaws unlike the all-around iPhone.

Remember that Apple only released two phones last year vs Samsung which has released over 100 phone Models of which the well knowns are alpha,note 4 , A series.... Don't forget about all those stupid small and cheap phones Samsung. Released.... Go check for yourself and shut up...
