For anyone who has used Android, 1GB of RAM feels like a 'bare minimum'. It does not make the phone any faster, just that any less ram and the phone will be real laggard. It is quite the opposite with windows OS. 1GB ram actually makes multitasking that much faster while even 512 RAM suffice for a 1GB ram like performance of Android phones. Second major advantage is the battery life, which should be far far better than Moto G.
Finally the camera of Moto G is not even comparable to 5Mp models of the Lumia. Let us not even talk about the 13MP shooter of 640XL or even the 8MP of 640. Having said that the 'comparable' (at least by size) 640 will be priced at less than 10Ks in India. So it will be much more affordable than the Moto G.

There are not enough apps? OK we could say that but 90% of apps that 80% od us use you bave on 3 major mobile OS. Windows 10 will become a platform that is going to get a lot of apps thanks to Visual Studio.

Dockers, 08 Mar 2015Enjoy you backwards and restrictive OS!It's not backwards and restrictive. As a matter of fact it's a great OS. Safe, stable, fast and elegant. It keeps getting better, but it has 2 main flaws in my opinion.
1. Apps. We need more apps. The more we buy lumias the more it will attract developers.
2. Updates don't come nearly soon enough. I know people that have waited for almost a year yo update their lumias to windows 8.1 denim. This is unacceptable. iOS updates basically show up as soon as they're announced.
Other than that, I love lumias. I have an iPhone now and you've no idea how I miss my lumia 800. I'll get my hands on one again as soon as I can.

Hi microsoft team please maintain QUALITY like old nokia. Ur recent models all are failure models... mainly in camara
am using nokia E 71 mobile its camara 3.5 MP only this beets ur 5MP camara u can take 500 extra money no issue but buld a good Quality product.
Am waiting for lumia 640 please produce good quality product

the Real Nokia never used "4" in any of its phone.
so this 640 is pure product of Microsoft, not Nokia anymore.

The Lumia 640 should not be priced more than 12k in India. The specs are matching to Moto G which is priced 12K. Anything more then that will hit the sales of Lumia in India for sure.

Sorry wrong Fysh, they are the same people from Nokia and still Lumia has unique characteristics for each Lumia device, so I don't see it how they are pumping out same designs like those Android OEMs, you need to get your eyes tested, and see the difference between 430 series and 640 series. You haven't see more yet, once Windows 10 comes out you wont be having this discussion at all when it comes to unique designs of the Lumia line.

Now, like other companies they just start making all the phones with the same design, it's like they suddenly became lazy they're not even trying new ones.
