Android Lollipop update for Galaxy S5 and S4 put on hold

I'm willing to accept the boxy look of the folders and widgets that came with the lollipop change. What I'm not willing to accept is the play store popping up randomly when I did not touch it. Google, if I wanted countless casino apps or stupid games, I'd download them myself! I think it's irresponsible to cause it to happen. What if it was an emergency and the play store pop up delayed me calling for help? You're setting yourself up for lawsuits.

Samsung has ruined the S4 with the lollipop update.
If they could not figure out lollipop They should not have released it.

Uuuugghhh!!!! Phone battery died and phone shut off...put it on charger and Whammo this rediculous update started and I couldn't stop it! Now I hate my phone. Hate how it works....how it looks...it reminds me of something I would give a child to play with because of the juvenile looking format. HOW CAN I UNDO THIS!!!! I want the older version back!!!

don't update your s4. lollipop makes it very slow and programs collaps all the time!!!!!
i did upgrade but had to downgrade to kitkat.....now everything is ok!!!

Mace, 13 Mar 2015I really like the update despite what all these people say.... moreIn regards to Chrome and tabs, it took me a minute to figure that out as well when I did the Lollipop upgrade. Go into Chrome, pull down on the webpage to get to the options (3 vertical dots), click that, click on Settings and then turn off "Merge tabs and apps"

Awful, used to love Samsung but with this abortion of a upgrade will be swapping to Apple!!! I had to factory reset my data, and lost all my messages!! HATE SAMSUNG!!! Sort it out!!

When is samsung gonna pull their fingers out of their backsides and sort out all these problems. Looks like Apple May well get new customers unless they sort it soon. My phone is useless, just a glorified paperweight since update to lollipop

Is Samsung going to fix the bugs we all have ?? im waiting for an update to fix them but still nothing.Ive installed Textra but dont work at times .Im sick of this lollipop.

Lollipop update looks good but it ends there. This isn't a case of you've got to move with the times and update no matter what and get used to it or you're old fashioned,this has been redesigned by someone who likes programming more than providing people with what they want. Take contacts as one example. It used to stay on the same tab even if you restart it. I use favourites all the time. Now it defaults back to contacts!! Rubbish. When you touch the contact you want,it calls immediately you see the contact details!! Also rubbish. Why change contacts when it used to be user friendly? Having read previous posts problems are across the board. Hear our voices please...

I wish I'd never bothered with the update. Can I go back to a previous version?
Since updating all my passwords have been wiped, my phone constantly keeps crashing and freezing, it's changed all my screens but when I try to move anything I just get an error message saying touchwiz has stopped working and these are only a few of the problems.
I've googled some solutions but none have worked, the only thing I haven't done is a master reset because I need to back everything up first.
Samsung should sort this piece of crap out ASAP, it's shocking!
Any ideas anyone.....?

Lollipop is so bad it could be classed as sabotage from another company. A company the size of Samsung cannot be responsible for such a dog of an update surely.,

My partner updated his s4 yesterday, he can't read his messages at all, even downloading a new app,hasn't helped. His phone is useless

Couldnt view messages but have now changed my default messager to hangouts and that works fine.this is useful as a work around
