It has outdated tech compared to the S6, has a lot less features and capabilities, and it's 16 GB version is still more expensive then the 32 GB version of the S6 and it still is the best selling smartphone in India! According to your logic, India must have a lot of dumb rich people. :)

I personally do not have problem paying even 65000 INR for a 64 GB model coz you can buy it using a credit card without interest for even a 24 month EMI which is pretty amazing, if you ask. Just like a two year payment plan. Well enough with good part. The thing that annoys me is the frequent and aggressive price cut which samsung does. Just after two years my Samsung galaxy s4 cost 18000INR from 41000 INR . It really makes me think before buying another sammy product. Well I'm gona buy it anyway , may be in june , as i really prefer what samsung do in thier devices. Their devices can make you the centre of attraction and the geeky guy of course.
                  Thanks for reading
I'm not a samung guy , that name striked and for ease i typed it . Lol

Everyone is commenting on pricing like they will buy if it was priced less
Except the fact most of person will bash apple and samsung here for their pricing and wish that they will get there products for free
If you want to buy a premium device you have to pay a premium price

You fools learn this lesson, Few got Note Edge and few Note-4 what Sammy did is update (Lollipop) only Note-Edge in India and left Note 4 buyers in air.. who paid almost 58K including myself. So don't rush and pay your valuable money on these useless piece of technology, its not a life guard. Let the price slash down to 35-40K for 64GB in 2-3 months then buy it.

Even now S6 Edge customers will be treated as premium buyers and then S6 buyers will be treated as cheap customers. Then what would you feel. This is a disorder which has grown irrationally nowadays in humans (Compulsive Buying Disorder). Which you should overcome. And control your feelings before purchasing anything for yourself.

Companies like Yureka is providing 615 chipset, so sammy was long predicting this situation and silently went for 14nm FinFET process in production. Now I agree Snapdragon 810 has heating issues.. built on 20nm tech. So wait for SD815 or either SD820 (16nm) which will obviously churn this Exynos 7420 into dust.

Sammy is poor in providing best in class software, it can only produce average ads and glowing colors to attract mid to high class customers.

Android has started to loose the glory which was withheld by vendors like samsung by adding custom skins and making customers to buy them... but now things should change. What would you do with a phone (worth 70K) which will not be supported not more than 2 years ? Also how many updates would you get in 2 years ? 1.. 2 or 3 at max ??

                        Open your eyes.

Jokes apart I feel Samsung might reduce the prices of these smartphone in 2-3 months. Probably it will be a good buy then.

AnonD-369663, 23 Mar 2015totally agreed! but resale value should also be taken into... moreExactly!

You buy a 70,000 Rupees phone today.

In 6 months its price comes down to 35,000.

                                      Samsung has pathetic resale value.

So you have to sell your phone for 25,000 only.

So cost of ownership for 6 months = 45,000 Rupees!

I contrast Apple never drops their prices so drastically.

A 60,000 Rupees phone can still fetch you 35,000 on resale.

So cost of ownership for 6 months = 25,000 Rupees!

I don't see how reducing prices is in Samsung's favour. They instead insult the early loyal buyers. But its also true that no clever person will pay so much for a Samsung phone, so they are left with no choice other than selling it for 50% i.e. 35,000 or less in the end.

Curved screen has no advantages over normal screen. Instead it bends the app's UI, you can't use the buttons which are at the extreme top/bottom corners.
