yeah, the 3,5 mm port is really annoying in a product of this price range. SE will start of next year with icro Usb and 3,5mm as the new european standard ”requires”.
Ports aside, the new phones look nice.

Anonymous, 12 Oct 2009Funny all the SE haters, probably own a Nokia? SE still ... moreI agree with you. I have the SE c902 and it does not have 3.5 mm jack. This is very very irritating. I have decided that the only reason a new cell phone can possibly come out without a 3.5mm jack is because the manufacturer is spite full.
Out of principal, even if it is the best phone in the world, and it does not have a 3.5mm jack, I will never buy it. I know I am only one person and SE will not miss my business, but I am sure many people feel this way.

The Satio is mine on Friday! Finally got confirmation on the red one. I love S60 and this is the best one out there. I don't get twhat everyone is nagging on? Kind of interesting that the same guys cheering for Nokia models talk BS abuot the Satio... which runs the exact same OS but with better hardware.
        Jealousy?!

Personally, I am (almost) always very pleased to see designs of Sony Ericsson's phones. Specially their new handsets which are still holding the element of "designing" in them because it seems everyone else is going after just one design which is very non-sense. I admit that demand of big touch screens is taking away most of the designing but well it is a challenge for designers and they should do some designing based on it and not just following the you-know-what's trend.

Than not only design but when it is about the use of phone, other than dealing with calls I think Sony now maybe not the best but yes it is still much better than many others. While dealing with all kind of crises if Sony is still producing good products then for Me it is better than those who are doing good without dealing with such crises.

I love X2, it will be my second time to play with WinMo, last time on i-Mate I just throw both away instantly but in between that event and today its a big jump so I am ready to give WinMo another chance just to have X2 with me.

About prices I just want to write that, every single thing come with a price. It is easy to say I want this and that and that too, but if they put all of that, price will go high. Not only price but the size of device go heavy and ugly. Merge Quality, Design, Functionality, Size, Material and well that goes more than what you want to pay. And well those all take time to fit in too.

Funny all the SE haters, probably own a Nokia?

SE still have the slickest designs even if they are ALWAYS late to the marketplace.

The Satio looks real good, had a play when I was in the UK last week. Responsive OS, takes a bit to get use to the touch senstiveness but once you do you'll fly around it. The on-screen keyboard is FAR better than the stupid Nokia N97 one (who the hell redesigns QWERTY?!).

Still have the best camera intergration, 12MP wow, takes seriously good photos, but the covers are just ridiculous, it's like the phone is wearing pants and got a little.... excited.

SE biggest self kick in the crotch is not adding a 3.5mm jack, which is INDUSTRY STANDARD. Just criminal on phones of such quality, and price should be reflective of the options missing.

Still looking for that phone to do it all, Satio is the closest yet.

Sony Ericsson's lineup looks really great. Still best phones tech-wise and with the greatest quality/price ratio. I think Samsung might be a tough competition but then again I don't trust their build quality. Sony phones have never disappointed me.

It's not just about features. It's also about design, battery life, and refinment- something Sony Ericsson gets better than most except probably HTC and Apple, but then those brands aren't exactly cheap either.

Sony Ericsson Rocks..They have brilliant DESIGNS and INNOVATIONS..They only lack the speed in production after announcing their models and their phones costs a fortune(overpriced) compared to other manufacturer..I hope SE executive will read this..

after se released p910 (a great phone 4 its time) they hv not done much in terms of improving their company. the specs hv (very) slowly improved but the prices hv gone up significantly without a proper justification. it takes se too long to release a product after they hv announced it and the consumer has to pay for this time period spent. it is like what happened to neonode. they had great ideas - the 1st touchscreen phone to hv slide to unlock, flick ur finger to scroll thru menus and so far the only phone with optical touchscreen (which is as good as capacitive, if not better) but it took them 1-2 yrs to put their phone into production. this added costs of production and let the competitors catch up. soon after hving released 3 phones, they went bankrupt. i dont want the same to happen to se because they hv good ideas but they really hv to speed up production after they announce it.
