They bought time with just five handsets.that is cheap. They should have given away fifty for each day of delay. They have sold millions of OnePlus one without any advertisement expense.

It's pretty lame to promise something and then not deliver anything at all.
I'm not surprsised they are giving away phones but like many devices, until they get the Lollipop update we all have to check the outbox for unsent e-mails...
But it seems the brand is not that loved & they prefer to create random drones rather than sorting their primary revenue source!

I thought it was gonna be five handsets each day, which sounded kind of nice to me, though it did imply that they knew they would be late...
Obviously it's even worse if they only give away 5 cause it also means they will be late AND they're being quite "cheap"

When they first announced that (only) '5 Free Phones' shit, I panicked. Because I thought to myself "Well, THAT'S not much of an incentive to keep their promise! I wonder if there's a connection between my theory and their reasoning...".

You realize the giveaway is for both people interested in or already own a OnePlus One right? As in, who wouldn't want a free OnePlus One wether they owned one or not? I myself would give it to a relative or something and be the most awesome relative ever! :)

They delayed the release for some certification issues so my question is how much time it will take to get approval for certification issue and also one more question if they are saying that oxygen os operating without any issues in their internal office then why they are not coming out with the features of oxygen os
