Who buys a HTC do not buy specs, buy its design. Specs from mid and high-end are almost undetectable.

But yeah, otherwise those are a better choice in my opinion.

Now HTC, SONY, Samsung and Apple wants to stable in the market then they have to reduce down the prices because alots of competitors came in market with more specification and less price..Like MI, Asus, Xolo, Lenovo and some Chinese companies.

So HTC, Sony, Samsung and Apple BYE BYE

HTC mid-tier phones are too expensive compared to other manufacture mid level phones. This should be a $250-$300 phone at this point considering what you know get from Asus, One Plus, Motorola, Microsoft, etc in that price range and less.

Less processing power but 64-bit cpu. Tons of HTC bloatware but retains aluminium unibody. Only 16gb storage option (does have sd card slot) but better camera. Bigger battery and HTC design are good points. However I do wonder about the quality of the 1080p screen included on this model, even if its the same as M8, some said the colours appeared "washed out" compared to competitors. All makes it an interesting prospect.

And then the price kills it dead, costing more at launch than an M8 can be had from Amazon right now, and that can only go down.

HTC, still the reigning champions of FAIL.

A decent mid ranger with killer looks. Finally a phone I can afford and be satisfied with. Keep it up HTC! Please release it with Lollipop and it will be a hit!

Im not a cpu power fanatic but A53 has nothing to do in the expected price bracket of this phone, but then again there are no good 64bit quad cores. I wouldn't hesitate to take a good 32bit over poor 64bit but the hysteria is complete, people actually want weak octa core nowadays.

On a side note, wish they based this on M7, visibly better pixel density, 4.7 inch is the upper limit for 1080 in my eyes.

Looks great to me, I'd take it over the M9. I loved the M8 except the awful camera, and this camera looks better and the slightly less powerful processor should mean amazing battery life. I might pick this one up when it's out.
