m86k, 16 Apr 2015Well, G3's screen is actually crap, but at least now they a... morehuh,so quick to judge,we need to be going for Apple not each others Android phone,samsung's got the power,HTC got well,they got what they got,LG has certain + and 's too,but Apple really thinks there shit don't stink,we need to gang up,and think next year's nexus is going to be what Apple should be thinking about,imo,to bad all phone company's had feedback out of each phones best with pure andiod,but we can keep arguing,well not this guy,is #Android not famboy or have we forgot,pointing out obvious flaws is pointless samsung's regular s6 is probably the best ,powerful phone and maybe camera or top three this year,awesome,if lgg4 ,when I get it for my reasons, and if it lags or other problems I can't deal with probably get the sammys6,ill never by an Apple after my iPad 2 air experience last week,worse tablet I ever dealt with,but anyway,sorry just,we can agree to disagree,hey is the s6 water proof,idk,but if not why not a removable battery and sdcard,i was just wondering,oh wait it's not cause went and tried one out,or I would of bought one but I will say the thing is faster than hell that one second difference than my g3 when I was surfing really blew me away,see I can do that all day about,Samsung,lg,htc ,anyone it's pointless,i know it's just a comment but downing cause you love sammy or don't like LG is something Apple fanboys do.but whatever

Micro SD and r... moreyep even if they go with 808 and 418 20 percent better than LGg3,but always like to see 40 to 50 percent in this area but this time around,with camera and others specs I think lgg4 is looking good and Samsung is great but some how should have at very least had a sdcard and where it's not waterproof why not figure out the
removable battery too,but,maybe those things were not what's the s6 was going for even though that's what a lot of people liked about Android phones,but hard to deny it's raw power,still 810 or 808, I think it's the lgg4 for me,but I have the luxury to upgrade every year

IGZOs are notoriously hard to manufacture and won't be mass-produced any time soon. SHARP and many other display manufacturers don't seem to understand the difference between concept and manufacturing feasibility. Only Samsung and LG seem to understand this.
Samsung spends far more in R&D on displays than all the other display manufacturers combined. They can easily design something far better than IGZO. That doesn't mean what they design can be mass-produced easily, so Samsung doesn't market their prototypes.
I want to see real-world results, not concepts.

why? Micro SD and removable 3000 battery are already + against all other flagships. Who will want to pay 45+ shipping for batter replacement with S6 and Edge?
ou must consider that this price is available only in USA, in smaller country with smaller markets, prices will be more expensive.
Secondly, i think QQHD screen and camera will be edge over other flagships.
it really doesnt matter which cpu is in the device, cuz it can run the same apk's and games as 810 or exynos or kirin with less chance to overheat.
Third new Lg UI will probably look cool, and G4 will already have Lollipop 5.1 so there are few edges over other flagships.
But all phone enthusiasts are giving momentum on benchmark. Benchmark isnt important, because you can have the best phone out there and still if it doesnt fit you you wont buy it.
And furthermore. Lg phones are always cheaper than Iphone, Samsung, Sony.

It all comes down to marketing rather than how far you have progressed with the technology. Sharp introduced the IGZO display later than Super Amoled and other IPS display, so it will take a while for IGZO to be adopted widely. Oh, don't forget that Sony uses the quantum technology for their triluminos display, which Lg and Samsung are currently investing.

Yeah man looks fab, good choice of processor as wells as snapdragon 810 isnt good heating problems, nice allround phone, lets hope it gives samsung s6 good competition & iphone 6, LG U Rock!!!

Guyz, IGZO is STILL an LCD screen. Also, it's outdated. LTPS is more power-efficient than IGZO. Nobody cares about IGZO anymore.

The biggest problem I have with IGZO and many of these technologies from companies is that they keep showing off prototypes or niche items that have incredibly difficult manufacturing processes and have difficulty in mass-production, meaning that they'll likely never become widely consumed like IPS or AMOLEDs.
I'm sure deep in Samsung and LG's lab, they have screens that are 100k resolution with infinite contrast and suck barely any power. The problem is that these screens are way too hard to produce and will probably never be mass-produced in the next 30 years, so Samsung and LG don't talk about them. Samsung and LG only talk about what's coming in the next few years and what can be mass-produced in the near-future. Why does SHARP, JDI and others keep bringing up these good concept techs that can't even be mass-produced and widely consumed? It's just annoying and makes consumers angry at how much you lie.

On topic, I hope that new QHD on G4 will be much better than on G3.
If battery will be also improved, this would be one of the best Android devices
