This was done by Verizon because Verizon has their VZ cloud service for which they charge monthly fees.
If they include free 100GB onedrive, no one will buy VZ Cloud service. Simple business decision here.

I guess they got short on memory to add their bloat ware. And so they had to delete some apps from the phones.

Cellphone service & internet services are very expensive in USA. Find a good MVNO for LA. I'm in Michigan & using 'Lycamobile'. It is a T-mobile MVNO & as good as a main stream operator.

joe sHmoe, 17 Apr 2015Try going to net10 or straighttalk they support both and th... morei hope these networks that you mentioned doesnt have conditions that restrict some band only to their brand, i heard that T-mobile restrict 2100 3G band only to T-mobile phones, means i wont get 3G if i use it but 2G only i am not even sure if their 2G bands 850/1900 are just for roaming or available locally, i wanted to check, are the 2 networks that u mentioned stand alone or base on AT&T or T-mobile?

AnonD-386937, 17 Apr 2015Then You should buy S6 :dwell i dont like galaxy S6 like note series better, but anyway i dont see how this will help, i am trying to get the most of my phone since i am just coming to study not to migrate, plus i may stay for a year or 2 or more depending on if i want to do more courses, since i am not a resident buying a contracted based phone on USA is not an option.

The S6, S6 Edge are beautiful phones but solely made and marketed to take market share away from Apple.
The problem is these Samsung based iPhones you have to buy a phone on what you expect your use to be.
Those upgrading from the S4 to the S6 face a problem as the S4 comes with 64Gb memory expansion. The S6 starts at 32Gb.
So a 100Gb OneDrive helps.
Not offering this forces someone to buy a higher memory phone and or buy cloud cover themselves
Samsung clearly in having 100Gb wanted to make up for no microSD and can't.
Now all those who say no a memory cards is no big thing wrong.
Did you also catch the piece on the price a new battery plus of sending your phone off to get it done as it has to be insured

guys, i know that this is random question, but can anyone help me, i am coming to USA to study in LA for a year or 2, i have a quad band Asian phone, it doesnt support 4G, i wonder if i can use a SIM card from AT&T or T-mobile, does anyone know if any of these 2 networks or and which one is better for my international phone bands 2G (850/900/1800/1900) 3G bands (850/2100)? thank you

They'll remove some apps and add their junk (carrier specific) apps. The carrier branded phones are loaded with bloatware making the Samsung phones' experience worse. The Samsung international phones are so much better than these.
I was hoping Samsung will move away from the carrier branding since Galaxy S4 but in vain!! Somehow Apple commands the way by not allowing any carrier to alter things.
