Microsoft released a new version of its Windows Phone Recovery Tool, which should fix your bricked Lumia 52X.

no luck.
Updated 1.24 recovery tool is not deducting the device. it says "Device could not be found."

I am really curious, i have a lumia 520. What happens if I brick my phone installing a windows update and no recovery tool can bring it back? Will I get a refund even if the phone is out of warranty?
