And the bezel b!tching, though I agree thin bezels do have an advantage, it gets very annoying when people want the phone to have 100% screen-to-body ratio, then STILL COMPLAIN to say it will shatter easily... idiots! o_O

DantE O2, 23 Apr 20151-s6 camera was awesome 9/10 IMO, i doubt g4 could do bette... moreGalaxy S6 does not use the Adreno 430 GPU, as that is Qualcomm's own IP. The Exynos inside the Galaxy S6 uses a Mali GPU, which is IP from ARM. Fun fact of that Mali GPU is, that when under load for a bit more than the quick benchmark, it starts throttling to a performance level which is even quite below Adreno 420 (which performs roughly similar to Adreno 418). Samsung Galaxy S6 therefor is not a very great pick for those that want to use the GPU inside the phone a lot for long time.

As for the camera module, it's all fun that in your opinion, LG's G4 can't outperform the camera of the Galaxy S6, but there is not a single objective reason to bring in as support for that opinion. In other words, you just don't like the idea that the G4 possibly may outperform the Galaxy S6 and as such already start talking it down.

For the part of build-quality, LG has been ahead of Samsung for many years, like it or not. Yeah, the flexible cheap feeling plastic from Samsungs phones may safe the glass once or twice with a fall, but in the end, any glass of any phone can shatter if the impact is precisely such that the phone can't handle it very well.

bezzels tho, 23 Apr 2015What the f LG. These bezzels are like 5mm thickYour troll bait is bad, and you should feel bad as well. :)

On-topic: The G4 is shaping up to be a definitely promising successor to the G3, and it's only a matter of time now till they release this beast!

Charley, 23 Apr 2015Wonderful device, but not worth a premium over an S6. Othe... moreIt will be cheaper than S6 for sure. They where talking same thing about GFlex 2, 700$ if i remember well.

Charley, 23 Apr 2015Wonderful device, but not worth a premium over an S6. Othe... more1-s6 camera was awesome 9/10 IMO, i doubt g4 could do better, may do equal at best IMO.has to be seen.
2-s6 had adreno 430 but g4 has 418(considering the resolution is QHD) every bit performance is welcome
            3-the build quality won't match s6,since it's plastic.
so the competitive price must be anything lower than s6
anything near s6 & the battle is lost IMO.

Anonymous, 23 Apr 2015I live in Berlin. In which big city do you live my friend? ... moreSeems the city-boy is upset now, for having Berlin called a forest. I guess Berlin these days is planted full with hipsters, but there still are plenty of sensible people outside of Berlin that do buy a better phone for a better price, like LG's offerings, instead of being the flock of sheep doing what commercials say is hip.

On that note, there is plenty of people out there that yearn for a high end phone with dual-sim capabilities. LG may well grab some of that group with a dual-sim LG G4.

I really don't get why people care about the look of a phone so much. Comfort in hand, screen, battery, camera, speed and ui are what matter. People sound like divas complaining about how a phone looks. I hate super thin phones, the s6 feels like crap in your hand. Bezels on the hnd are good to be small as it helps with one handed operation of these larger screen phones.

Wonderful device, but not worth a premium over an S6. Others reporting that this will be more expensive than the S6, but less expensive than the S6 edge.

Too bad. LG had an opportunity to undercut both of them.

I been using the g3 since it first came out..Come from a note 3.......Loved the look of the new s6 edge and bought 64 gig s6 edge straight out with a case at bestbuy for over $900.00 ..It did not feel good in my hand without a case. missed my g3,5.5 screen, knock knock and no button sides. the edge battery was not good and the screen rotation stoped working. Took the s6 edge back for full refund....LG ALL THE WAY.

AnonD-265153, 23 Apr 2015LG G4 - Removeable battery and SD Card slot, still a premiu... moreAll subjective nonsense. Most people don't use SD cards, the people who read these forums are not most people. I am all for competition, but the SAMOLEDs don't have this burn in you speak of. I have a S3, my wife has S4, her mom has S3 mini, both her brothers had samsungs (Now have Z3s, and love them) all for over 2 years, No burn in. I have had my s3 for 2.5 years. No issues like what you speak of.

I am wanting a new phone, but until the Z4 (or real Z4, or whatever sony is going to call their international Flagship), the new nokia phones, and this are released. I am not jumping on anything. They are all going to have their pros and cons.

You just have to find the ones that fit your list of what you need, and what you don't mind missing out on.

Just accept it, the G4 has not a touch of chance to compete the S6. Even experts say that the G4 will have a hard time because there are too many strong competitors out there at the moment.

S6 - premium but fragile exterior, no removeable battery and SD card slot, faster processor but you won't feel any difference to the S810/808, best in class display AMOLED that's most likely to burn it's colours after 1.5 to 2 years of using (My S4's AMOLED had it, so does the Moto X and Nexus 6), basic single LED flash.
I'd want an LG. Is l'd choose G4 over S6 anytime.
