lol at the person saying "contract system is best". he/she obviously doesn't understand how the contract system rapes you over that 2yr span.

            Wow great.
If Microsoft releases with same price ( equivalent) in India then Lumia 640 will surpass Lumia 520 & 535 easily. ( both have 20-21% share) its share in India will raise to 5.7 to 8 or 10 %.

Great! What about the 640XL? I hope ATT offers it at an affordable price.

I just went to MS Store website and chatted using the live chat. The person I was chatting to said:
"I honestly do not know, As Nokia could have pulled out from that deal, Or it may be released at a later time. I do know at this time we have not been told anything about it."
Amazing enough that s/he didn't know Lumia 640 is not a Nokia phone anymore and branded as Microsoft Lumia. After my 521 was bricked by recovery tool, I wanted to buy one of these for my app development since it has an NFC it could help my pocket a lot with its low price tag.

This will be the one to replace my Lumia 520. The only consern about windows phone is "App listing UI". Really annoying to scroll up & down.

Well since I can't comment using Google login, I'll use my Facebook.

So, yes, on Tuesday 21st of April I bought the recently announced MS Lumia 640 LTE single SIM phone from Vodafone ... I mean smartphone. Now this truly is a smartphone. Unlike Android, WP is so fast and I got used to the interface. I still have to get used to the screen size though. The lock screen and volume rocker buttons are wonderful to press. This phone exudes quality and is made with precision. I had no lag whatsoever and as I come from Android, I got used to losing the apps I don't use and it's faster than thought. Yes, since I'm Romanian, swiping doesn't work and since I don't want to use the special characters I have to enter most words. The camera is instant and has good quality. 1 second and you've took a photo and it's saved. The sound is almost deafaning if you put it to the max ... I'm using 12 to 16, 20 maximum. What more do you want? It's price in Romania is 154 euros unlocked but since I was a loyal customer on contract before this I got a 56 euros gift or something like that and bought it unlocked. Buy it, it's great! It's a midranger but it's better than some other Android "smartphones" which are almost flagships.

The price is unbelievable, it's a must buy. My days of spending $500+ on a phone are over.
