Don't know if you got it, Sony just found a buyer for it's mobile division willing to pay 1.9B dollars (the 3/4 of the latest estimated profit).

The ongoing restructuring of the company, however, is finally showing results and Sony will attempt to put behind its back several years in the red, brought about by dwindling smartphone and TV sales.
I think this loss is mainly from TV sales and VAIO not mainly because of smartphone business.
