Wizardry, 06 May 2015It's hardly rocket science is it? I've used HTC phones for ... moreI think the one max needed a bigger screen to fit a larger battery. I still love one max most out of all. To me,the sizeis just right, and I can type with onehand!!

The Ultrapixel is a big blow to their flagship. I stopped buying HTC since then. The last HTC I have is the One X+ 64Gb version. Running stock ROM of 4.2.2. I don't use anymore but I still keep it as a very strong contender against the S3 that time.
Now the M7 is now very cheap even the new ones, I still believe it is a waste of money since who knows the purple issue on camera may show up.
HTC has put a lot of details on aesthetic, but that's all they got.

I used to like htc phones. I still kept my old HTC rose s740, HTC desire z, HTC trophy, htc desire. But current spec incorporated in HTC phone with the overly priced with lots of problems like purple tint ultra pixel camera etc made my experience using HTC feels like a nightmare. With current model overheating htc phones makes you uncomfortable, sure other phone also overheats, but remember purple tinting of their previous latest models was caused by overheating. We never know what's problem next with HTC phones if it overheat.. 'Sigh'.....

Today spoke to htc customer care person and they told me that m9+ n e9+ is going to available in 1st week of june in india market. but earlier on 14april htc india launch m9+ and confirm it date 3rd may for sale.
htc strategy for marketing is very poor.
and form a website it is shown that htc is planing to launch m9+ plastic model. Htc goes insane

Wll aware customers punished HTC for this year design, and black bar issues on top of SoC heating up.
Fans truly enraged and dissapointed after seing such beautiful render, HTC opted to stay with "uglier than m8' design for m9.

And the strongest competitor of them all has coming strong with their metal, back glass design and edge innovation.

              Go figure HTC!

I start using htc phones since m7, then went to one Max and it was perfect, upgraded to m8 an now, what is now? I still love sense but m9? No way :( and I am thinking what to buy, note 4? :(

It's hardly rocket science is it? I've used HTC phones for the last ten plus years. They've been the 'nearly' phone almost all that time. So much potential they've almost got the perfect package but have never quite managed to nail it. The M9 is the perfect example; the formula seemed simple to me - they needed to nail the camera, reduce the bezel and make a small upgrade on the appearance if reducing the bezel wasn't enough.

Instead they "almost" get the camera right by going 20mp, the bezel isn't adjusted and the appearance is almost identical to the M8.

They hint at the M9+. If it was to come out with a 5.5 inch QHD screen, finger print, less bezel, camera nailed, water proof then they'd have had a phone that the world would line up for. Once again they just missed and they've confused everyone as to where, when and if it will be released.

Once again they're almost there. They've proven they can do it all but they seem intent on not putting it all together. The One Max could have dominated for ages but they put it out in nowhere land with a 5.9 inch screen. If it was a 5.5 inch screen I'd go out and buy it today - but they just missed....again.

HTC will be gone in 1-2 years from now, bought out by some Chinese company. Got can only bored cash for so long, sooner or later the banks will not finance you anymore, and without a credit line, the end is inevitable. Nice knowing you HTC.

i love htc no doubt, but coming from the one m8, i don't see the difference of upgrading to the one m9. i mean, in a few months the one m8 will get updated to sense 7 which will make it identical to one m9.

HTC should focus in Camera and Battery. One M9 doesn't have OIS on its camera and consumer like me are afraid of buying an expensive phone that has an overheating problem. It's same price to S6 so rather buy a S6
