Apple guys are free mansons that's why what ever they make sells in millions. You can make something that cost more than an iPhone, and looks better than an iPhone yet you can't beat their sells

It is a PHONE.
When I walk down the street in South Beach or anywhere else- no one looks at my Phone or CARES how THIN and STYLISH it LOOKS.
Why? Probably because-
It's a PHONE.
I think that Manufacturers and their Marketing/Design Teams may have mistakenly listened to Online Reviewers about "THINNESS" being an important(Top 5) specification.
Holding or placing a 7.5 or 8 millimeter thick phone in your pocket is barely different from a 6.8 millimeter Phone.
A slimmer sexier Body especially from Workouts whether Male or Female WILL get you more attention and Dates.
A slimmer, sexier Phone will NOT- ESPECIALLY if the Battery is dead and you can't call anyone.
Some Manufacturers have looked at the Iphone and MISTAKENLY thought Iphone's success is due to it's "THINNESS".
To many our Phone is very important for many things- we need Long Battery Life.
To make a semi dysfunctional phone to get below 7.0 millimeters is NOT a good idea-ESPECIALLY if you can go up one half millimeter(or.6) in Thickness to enable 3000 to 3100 Mah- the sweet spot for a Phone like S6 is IMNSH Opinion= 3100 Mah.

No need to compare samsung with apple.even xiaomi & huawei are better than samsung Lagwiz & crappy ph.LAGging performance; freezing; hanging; destruction of sensor. Even answering a ph call need to remove battery in my fri's galaxy s4 as it is hanging & browsing experience on my fri's s5 is lagger than huawei;xiaomi;htc.
Samsung era is ended.
Xiaomi & apple will crash samsung sooner or later if samsung continues producing their ph With crappy & lagging& low quality exynos.(in our country all official samsung phs are using exynos & almost all are lag)

Who in the right mind would pay iPhone-like prices that is well-specced on paper but hardly translatable in real life usage, stripped off of important key differentiating features (SD, removable batt, waterproofing) and made by a company who with a lousy record for software?

Peopele are realising that they dont need to pay an extra $300 just for a phone that load app a few seconds faster ,those extra 2m pixels and the metal body. S5 has ip67, same size screen and a bigger removable battery and sd card for those who cares. s6 does throttle, if you dont realise, just not as much as s810. S5 still is an excellent phone just like other 2014 flagships. S6 costs too much for what it offers, if you are going to bring up iphone, seriouly, theyare not in the same category. Nsa tried to hack ios apps and fails. Meanwhile nsa puts source code in android os. And iPhone 6 is from last year. And gets regular updates and proper services(in some countries, though still much better than what its competitors are offering). You might say I phones are overpriced, but you do realize you're not just paying for the hardware, software for example are not free, though you don't realise, the cost of updates are in the cost of a new phone. Like if you buy a cheap phone that has specs of a more expensive Samsung phone, you know you won't get any updates(unless something like one plus one or moto), but samsung will give you one(a major one most likely). There are other stuff you are paying for too. Back to the topic, s6 is overpriced, or you can say it does offer what should be offered, same for one m9 and g4 and especially xperia z4/3+ and others.

Wanna get that easy 5MILL more sales? Easy. Properly open source Exynos and announce that dev phones will be given out to CyanogenMod, Paranoid Android or OmniROM community devs for faster take up. Watch the numbers fly then.
p.s:- to Samsung lurkers here yeah you. Learn something.
