not surprised, screen is too small for a flagship phone now, also lots of probs with camera etc .. why HTC put out junk when they know what we want .. a decent phone, decent specs and decent cam. Dont need 4 degrees in physics to work that out!

Results are like this if you don't have brand name, if you don't have brand name you can only sell cheap phones, and if you don't have brand name you cant sell your flagship phones because there's samsung who has so much bigger brand name. Thats a reality.

While M9 is not the kind of upgrade we expected it is still a great phone. Everything about it apart from Camera is great. People who say that SD810 is useless beause the M9 doesnt use all its cores need to understand that there arent many apps which will allow to use all those cores. Even though the phone mainly uses its a53 cluster it is still one hell of a fast phone. Sense is amazing, better than TouchWiz. Battery could be better but thats a lollipop problem so people should wait for 5.1 update. Any other complaints just tells you that you have not even tried it. I'm not an HTC fan, in fact I have always been using Samsung phones but there is no use in complaining because it is all different when you actually use the phone rather than reading reviews.

I would've bought this phone but it has rounded back which isn't acceptable for me as i type on the phone while phone is on the table and it's impossible round back

[deleted post]HTC barely made any money before their M9 cane out, this is a sinking ship, and had been for quite some time, HTC will be gone in a few years time, swallowed up by a bigger company that will buy it at pennies to the dollar, the vultures have started to circle the carcass,same thing happened to Motorola mobility, first bought cheap by Google, then sold to Lenovo.

Another possible culprit is the fact that HTC themselves have created too many "flagships" thus killing the supposed flagship's sales.

AnonD-85193, 21 May 2015Not surprising considering how crap the Snapdragon 810 is t... moreThe Exynos 7420 might be better than the SD810 in some aspects and doesn't overheats like it, but both the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge actually don't take so much advantage of this powerful SoC. First of all, because of the QuadHD screen that is unnecessary (1080p is enough, even 720p on smaller screens) and affects the performance, and second of all, the S6 might open apps very very fast, but the multitasking really sucks because of RAM issues, even thoe it has DDR4 RAM which Samsung has advertised to be much more better. So due to these cons, the M9 actually performs overall faster than the S6. And also I don't get what's the mania about having an innovative phone, sometimes it's better evolution than revolution (besides, why would they change already a great design, its pointless), and I'm kinda sad that consumers don't get this.

What a pity. They could've done much better with M9 if they did a overhaul to its design(even though I personally don't mind it, at all) but the biggest thing that contributed to this outcome is prolly - camera. Not to mention the horrible time to release the M9+ shortly after M9. And the delay of M9 in my country(Singapore) which also led me to buy the S6. Pity cause, cause I still think Sense is superior in terms of performance and consistency compared to even the much toned down TouchWiz.

Poor HTC. All because of Qualcomm! Companies shouldn't be too much dependent upon a single component provider, if it fails to live upto expectations then the whole industry suffers.
I hope we more of Intel powerhouses later this year..

But yea, the writing was on the wall since the news broke. Same design, gimped performance, subpar camera, and lets not forget the laughable battery.
