I'am owner of HTC phones from year 2008 starting with HTC Advantage X7510, HTC Desire, Desire HD, One X, One(m7). After owning One(m7) nearly two years (I kinda felt like One(m8) failed to live up to my next smartphone upgrade, recycled design, same gimmicky 4MPx camera, thick bezzels and so on) I chose LG G3 instead. Wich was hard for me, I liked HTC,I liked the build quality, great audio, great yeat simple HTC Sense and that it was a unique smartphone in it's own way. And with next gen One(m9) they just kept failing. If u check financial year over year reports u can clearly see that they indeed failed quite hard. I still care for HTC and I'am willing to go back when HTC manages to bring proper high end smartphone, cause LG G3 is just meh, non for me:P

I'm quit disappointed to see tthat here is no snapdragon. I didn't know that does this can with snapdragon 810 processors. my biggest complaint about htc is bad after sales service. in india after sales service pathetic. if you are considering the build quality there is no more better choice in price.

Look at those front speaker gr... moreBoomSound never fills up the entire gap if you look at the teardowns; it usually fills up about half of the speaker grill while the other half could be for notification LED etc. It looks bad but I don't expect it to sound off compared to other BoomSound speakers.

Realism 101, 04 Jun 2015Alright people, for you guys that complain about the bottom... moreHtc butterfly S and butterfly 2 also have front dual boom sound speakers but the top and bottom bezels are of equal size so the screen fits exactly in the center of the phone so there is symmetry in design.In the case of other htc dual speaker phones including m8 and m9 the top bezel and speaker grill is small and are closer to that side of the screen but the bottom bezel and speaker is a little away from the screen. So the screen is a bit off from the center of the phone where there is no symmetry in design. M9 + and One Me have iregular sized speaker grill with one large grill on the top and two small grills on the bottom which really makes them ugly
Other brand dual speaker phones like Sony Z3 and moto g2 have symmetrical design where the top and bottom bezels are of equal size and the screen is fitted in the center of the phone with speakers are equadistantly placed on both sides of the screen which is symmetrical in design.

Looks like HTC just gave up. Look at those front speaker grills? Why the top one is so far left? And the bottom one is divided into two? Why they even slapped that fingerprint scanner in the middle of a speaker? How does even the bottom speaker perform? Is the speaker itself is under the scanner? Or maybe there's two smaller speakers. But non the less, the once beautiful and one of a kind design (m7) become a damn recycled joke slapped on majority of HTC's phones in last two years. Please HTC pull yourself together. Owner of desire, desire HD one X and one(m7).
