What really pissed off a lot galaxy fans was the loss of removal batteries and SD card slots on the latest S6 phones by Samsung. The loss of these features will hurt Samsung. From the customer base prospective it appears that Samsung has lost a lot of sales to the likes of LG & others. Manufacturers should give more features to increase business NOT take away what has been good and accepted for years!

What's with the hate Windows Phone gets anyways? Probably because people don't see the Apple logo or the "Powered by Android" logo on the box. Conveniently, it gets all the hate while providing the following features every flagship these days exclude from their predecessors:
>Actually good battery life
>Affordable without contract
>Many are equipped with a high-visibility ClearBlack Filter
>Can sustain several drops before the digitizer fails
Yet many premium flagship devices don't even have these. Shame.

The majority of this site who defend every little practice (especially if it's Apple and Samsung), and consistently fragile designs, would ignore battery life and rather have something plated with fake gold accents or razor sharp thinness. The market really tries too hard to look wealthy rather than be successful and have lasting designs. Also I hate that "who buy's cases anymore" mentality, implying that the status quo of lasting hardware is irrelevant. God forbid I want an affordable MIL-SPEC smartphone.

GSMArena, 28 Jun 2015Funnily of all Android manufacturers, SAMSUNG has been the ... moreYeah, except for the SAMSUNG GALAXY NEXUS, which was sold as new until November 2012 in the Google Play Store, and dropped support just eight months later, in July 2013. Google/Samsung blamed Texas Instruments for why the phone didn't get 4.3. The backlash was so bad (and community-oriented ROMs like CyanogenMod *were* able to get out a 4.3-based build) that Google eventually, reluctantly, backported 4.3 to the Galaxy Nexus.
Unfortunately, I sold my GNex during the window where Google dropped support, but before they back-ported 4.3. Supposedly, newer Nexuses are better on the support, but I haven't purchased one since then. These days, I will not purchase a phone without an unlocked bootloader and good community support. Some companies allow unlocking the bootloader, but punish you by immediately voiding the warranty (Motorola) or disabling features (Samsung KNOX). So the only phones to get if you want future-proofing are the Nexus line (regardless of who builds them, Google trumps the locked bootloader), OnePlus, or Apple.

SONY was pretty bad when it was Sony Ericson and had the X10 and Arc devices.
Ever since they bought-off their Ericson partner, officially joined the AOSP with Nexus devices, and debut their first/newest original flagship SONY Xperia Z. It's been steady support ever since.
Samsung had an okay track record, but for their flagship devices. Their mid-range and other models barely got any support. HTC always made fun of Samsung, but they were worse in their support. And LG basically had zero support for any devices, even their flagship devices got bad support.

Correct my freind,its because pple come in this site boasting i got the latest note 3 note 4 oh and im getting the note 5 ect ect.all because they need to get that latest update that companys have neglected on the phone they already have.but what they dont tell you is the amount of Debt they go in just to come in here and boast about it.my m8 has a spanking brand new s3 from Amazon still running kitkat and my 2 note 3s are still running kitkat.if its not broken as the saying goes then why on earth try n fix it ! Oh i forgot ppl need to keep up with the jone's like any body gives a cr@p.cus round the corner theres a newe'r model just round the corner to fool every body with there hard earnt cash?

Yes sony pissed off me i bought z first then after some month came z1 i bought that also then i stopped purchasing until z3 compact came. Now happy with z3c

Funnily of all Android manufacturers, SAMSUNG has been the most regular in updating it's FLAGSHIP range, giving 2 - 2.5 years of latest OS.
SONY's track record has been good ever since 2013's Z lineup, while the same cannot be said of HTC and LG.......

I really don`t get it, why do a lot of people nowadays think that if a newer phone than the one they already have comes out that`s it! their phone will automatically become a piece of crap even if the new phone has tiny improvements over the one they have!
