Amonynous, 28 Jun 2015[iOS & Windows > Android] in terms of stability; [iO... moreTo each his own in terms of preference but saying Android is less stable is a myth.. you can read articles fro m many sites incuding tech times where they say in testing Android has less app crashes than the latest iOS...

Also last I checked iOS and Android are still growing while MS is preparing for a huge write off... and not to mention, declining market share.

AnonD-401272, 28 Jun 2015I am running the "technical preview" on my lumia ... more[iOS & Windows > Android] in terms of stability; [iOS & Windows > Android] in terms of security; [Windows > Android > iOS] in terms of features of the user interface; [iOS & Windows > Android] in terms of user interface graphic design; [Android > iOS & Windows] in terms of customizability of the user interface]; [iOS & Windows > Android] in terms of updates; [Windows > iOS > Android] in terms of ease of use; [Android > iOS > Windows] in terms of number of available apps in their stores; [iOS > Windows > Android] in terms of quality of the apps in their stores. These rankings show that Android is an OS made for the masses (it works most of the times, but since it's "free", people can't complain about the lack of quality) whereas Windows is made for those who want performance, productivity & easy of use and iOS is made for those who love the premium feel of Apple products.

I don't know with others but for me, I find naming series of Windows phone strange. I get confused between the numbers 640, 535, 520 and so forth.

instead they can name the series similar to other OEMs.

WP is 5 years old now and that is 90 million users that includes WP7 and WP8/8.1 devices. Now Android sells over 2.8 times more devices in 1 quarter then the entire history of WP since it was released. Just think about those numbers. BTW the last 3 quarter have seen WP sales drop. WP last quarter (Q1 2015) market share was at 2.5%. You like to laugh at the others struggle, then it should be easy for you to laugh as WP then as well, right?

I am running the "technical preview" on my lumia 930 build 10149, I must say windows 10 is a huge improvement and I am quite happy with what Microsoft has done with the implantation of windows 10. I was considering going the apple route, but not now, 'iPhone seems to be behind because windows 10 mobile is actually ahead of iPhone!

Each person has their own preferences, I think more competition the better as it pushes companies to do more and be competitive.

As for Android lagging, that was long ago. the UI lag was because unlike Apple, Google did not prioritize CPU cycles for touch interface over processes. All that changed since Jelly Bean and KitKAt.

The candy named OS is referred to Lagdroid for a reason; iPhones are pricey; BB went MIA. Microsoft mobile will be fine- their Surface lineup is still TBD...

no matter what, after all windows mobile with flat UI, no launchers, no custom roms. Ifun n Windows mobile can compete each other no match for droids.

Windows 10 will make Windows Phone the choice of businesses worldwide. Expect to see Microsoft snapping at the heels of Android and iOS before long !

Most Windows phones are low end at the moment, so what, that's the market they have been targeting for the last few years !!

Windows Phone ? Yea...3% world smartphones, good job Elop, after so many years this OS is...nothing. Remember that he must kill Symbian and MeeGo to get 3% for WP.
I want see phone like Nokia 808 PureView - great camera, ClearBlack, microSD, Xenon flash, 1/1.2'' sensor size, Dolby Digital Plus, Stereo FM radio with RDS, good audio quality, good battery with contemporary CPU/GPU. And one more - dimensions and weight is not most important thing.

most windows phone devices come from the low end as the chart specified with the dominating resolutions .. it lags in everything behind the competition right now .. so no need to look here ..

Will be interesting to see these devices when they are released. I am a Windows Phone user, as well as also having iOS and Android devices. The other two have no real advantage over the MSFT offering other than time on the market and therefore larger established user base. I am pretty sure there would be less bashing if people would take the time to actually try it out without pre-existing bias.
