It was just a beta. And was pulled because it was buggy as hell.

Updated my MT2L03 to Lollipop 5.1 B309 version last night and I am loving the experience so far. I have been using the device for 1 year now and the OS update has been a welcome update. My other device is a 1+1 so I was already a Lollipop user and the JB 4.3 on Mate2 was becoming a a bit of a bore The upgrade was painless and straightforward. All the APPs and Data get deleted during the upgrade, so please do take a backup first.

Huawei always doing silly things, when mate 2 cames out, we all ask for kitkat update but they refused, now they give those old device the newest os update and left those newest devices sitting with older version of os, funny hummmm. I glad myself had sold the mate 2 on ebay and got part of my money back, good luck with all the huawei device owners out there. I am now happy asus zenfone 2 owner.

samsung and lg always do opposite, updates newest devices first!

I really DON'T understand how this WEIRD smartphone system works with these updates .. So I have newer Mate 7 and WHY this device won't get 5.1 first ??? WTH Huawei really don't understand your system ..
