Who would have thought a company with overpriced and lousy bottom to top phone lineup would post a YoY decrease?

Certainly not those "analysts" who said S6 will sell past 70M+ units.

It's funny how biased a chart is when it comes to mostly flagships but not mid rangers? I doubt the PR even appeals to anything other than one phone and one phone only. This may come as a shock to some, but Samsung's lower end is flourishing compared to their premium devices. Granted, Touchwiz doesn't help matters but that's aside the point. People are finally looking at the premium glass-end trend of looks over function. The S6 looks cute in unusual colors, but that's literally it. It's just looks and no substance.

    Galaxy Ace Style FTW.

I bet that profit would have been so much larger if they'd manages to imbue the S6/Edge with a capable and removable battery as well as SD support and IP68 certification.

Hopefully they've learned this lesson for the Note 5

It's official that S6 didn't do that well.
