Anonymous, 05 Dec 2009come on guys you need to get your facts right. GSM arena's ... moreYou know what? GSMArena says with the big size Tittle "SE Xperia X2 to be delayed until Jan 2010". (This happened to Aino too). Which country to be delayed? All over the world or only in UK on Vodafone Network? The problem is : the tittle makes people on this planet think negative about this phone. In my country the Satio and Aino just be fine and sold well. Think before act. To SE, i just wanna say Keep up the good work.

the satio was neverr stopped or withdrawen from Vodafone stores. though this as far as we are aware is not tru but then again we were supposed to get it last month.

According to the SE website, it's still meant to be available in December. It's probably a delay with Vodaphone.
In the mean time. I'll continue looking at the alternatives such as the
Nokia N900

Samsung Omnia 2

I can safely say Carphone Warehouse in the UK will NOT have this handset by Christmas. So, though I'm not defending the entire article, GSM are right from a UK point of view. I would doubt that this is due to reliability issues though in all honesty.

come on guys you need to get your facts right. GSM arena's job is 2 report thte facts, or rumours as they hear them - people wouldn't use the sight if not. And they're info about the Xperia is correct, so if you're gonna have a moan about them then at least get your facts straight. I work for a network and i can tell you for a fact that sony ericssons phones are of an appauling quality at the moment, we're getting about 1 in 10 back, which tells me they have a lot of serious issuews whether anyone likes them or not, that is the bottom line. Innit.

i think its a wise to quit waiting for this phone. SE is always like this from there X1 until now they never change. its just a matter of time they would be gone for good.

GSMarena is starting to tick me off.....the X2 is available in a developing country like Bangladesh....its available in the market for around 56,000TK..($830 approximately).....don't know why but it seems GSMarena has a grudge with SE.....first the Aino and now they have a swipe at the X2....had it not been for their excellent reviews i swear i would not have come back to this site.....sick mofos..:

thanks rumkokos. DEFINITELY will consider buying the HTC HD2 instead :-) . once i saw the darn thing (AND the "preview", and then the "review" for it, on gsmarena), i just knew that the darn thing would literally KILL the iPhone (which i see tons of people -- my uncle included -- have purchased it. which i dont see the point too. apple just locks you up and makes you use proprietary software, proprietary hardware, and you can't do anything like tweaking and customizing it the way you want, without "oooo you're doing something you're not supposed to" accusations and/or jailbreaking the phone).
faster processor, better screen, and a whole bunch of other stuff also. what more could anyone want? :-)
also, by the way, i had another question: the Xperia X1 cellphones that your friends have that DON'T have the "phones-cracking" problems, do they have the Silver-colored X1 or the Black-colored X1?

There are alrea... moreWell, in your answer, I will surely buy it and I know a few more people who are egarly waiting to get hands on to it. Slow processor is a bit sad corner for us who are waiting for X2 but the thing is (for me) I look to available and upcoming sets many times, seen all kind of videos, said good things for many other products but when I come back to look at X2, its design and characterstics, its panel system and its keyboard, every other product simply lost their existance, X2 is coming almost perfect package, a better processor will kill any competition but well, for now the X2 it is.
I hope with WinMo 7, Sony will deliver even better looking device with same killing elements and better processor because I will going to start saving for that next unseen masterpiece.

Why do they even bother bringing this out?
There are already many 8 MP camera phones available.
And who would buy it as it cant be upgraded to WinMo 7.

monopol nokia against SE because n900 is now comming out and x2 is better phone in some things then n900 and yes cheeper . GSMarena is going crazy with not bad but fals information
