Apple uses nearly half of hardware specs to Android phones but when performance is measured, its more or less the same to better on the Apple side. Apple has been doing hardware maximization since the early days and they are good at it as compared to Microsoft, Samsung, LG etc...

4GB... it OK, but I would be far more excited if note5 turned out with 64GB internal storage in stock version, sd card slot, removable battery, usb3 port, stereo speakers and waterproof design.

My windows 7 laptop still has 2 gb of ram with "only" quad core i3 but I can still run photoshop + lightroom + browser or visual studio + browser together without any lags!
Just saying, that Android should optimize /evolve itself to run better rather than using 4 gigs ram or 8 core processor (and still sometimes crashing unexpectedly)

This SoC seems really interesting, but one thing I'm not happy about it: cramming NAND storage on it too. NAND degrades a lot faster with the rise of temperature. I would prefer that one to be separated. Of course the phone is likely to die before the storage does, but only time will tell what will fail 1st and when.

You can still see phones with 512 MB of RAM than run Asphalt and other heavy games.
Only Android users care so much about the amount of RAM, because the OS is highly unoptimized and is a resource hog.

All I have to say is Samsung is the best and what there Samsung teams build is nothing more but perfection can't wait to get my hands on this new note as I'm a note user and will always be a note user so thank you Samsung.

asus zen series and padfone series is a good choice with the best UI luncher and good spec.. with the prices, samsung cant beat it!!!! go asus!! make the better product!!!
