Yahoo's new LiveText app combines text messages with muted video

Nearly a couple of months after it removed its Messenger app from iTunes, the company has launched a new mobile messaging app dubbed LiveText, although it's currently only available in the Hong Kong iTunes Store.

    Very useful

      If so much data is anyway going to be used sending visual data (video), why not add audio and make it quicker?

      Entire point of text messaging is that it takes very little data.

      I honestly can't visualize any significant context for using this kind of service.

          it's a welcome development from yahoo.they really lost their market.atleast this will revive it.just hope this app will be made available to all platforms in Nigeria.

            This is a really bad Idea, the whole point of texting is that I can be taking a dump and texting my girlfriend and she would not know.
