If you're thinking to buy this phone, than remember this:
1. First of all, customer service. Yureka is An exceeding superb phone , but YU s service is pathetic! 2 months ago, when they launched Yuphoria, they completely forgot Yureka 1. Now when they are launching Yureka+, they are gonna forgot this Yuphoria.
2. It got less battery! in Yureka, the battery life was OK, not that superb. now in this plus which got full HD display, it's gonna be pathetic!.
3. YU is famous for forgetting it's old users, as I explained on 1st comment. they will forget users of Yureka + when they'll launch another phone.

For me the Battery life is the concern......Y can't u increase the Battery up to 3500 at least......
But i appreciate the new beginning of mobile market by the Indian company...
Its worth it.......

They missed their last chance to ditch the SD615...and on top of that, they worsened the deal by replacing the screen with an even more resource intensive Full HD screen.
Graphics performance just got hit.

I once suggested one of my students, to buy this phone and he purchased it, but after reviewing it myself, I suggested he return it back.
One reason was the inferior camera. I had a Redmi 1S which, at 8 Megapixels was giving much better results, quality as well as details.
Can you believe it? The earlier Yureka's 13MP camera lost to Redmi's 8 MP in terms of Details!!
Even otherwise, its quality was bad. Trees appeared as foilage and indoors, ISO shoots up to 600 while Redmi 1S was managing 300 with much loser noise.
So, its an obvious decision to improve the camera once and for all....
I'm not sure about the display though, I've seen both 1080p and 720p and still can't wonder why to choose former over latter... Even because it reduces free processing power and battery life.

'YU' sound like chinese to me. It remind me of another brand which is Yotaphone. Btw, im not the previous guy. Just a passer-by.

First time I ever heard about this OEM, ohhh I reme... morei think every single company deserves a place even not international...im againts company wich copy design and user interfaces from anothers,,please create ur own ui probable some one will like it...sd 615 is a good processor the problem is too slim devices and no speace for the procesor to be cool,,,well many of the phone overheats if u force them to rum in their high capacity ....for a good phone verything needs to in a good balace...octacore processor are use less ... apple uses just 2 cores and those one performes way betetr than many quad cores or opcts cores...more cores is more heat under stand that...it is like 4 owven cooking insted of 1 in ur kitchen.. u ill get more heat

How can some Samsung phones with the same chipset not heat at all and these phones heat I think it's all because of optimisation and Xiaomi dosent optimize its phones well redmi 1s had the SD 400 but it used to overheat and there were n no of phones released with the same chipset which didn't heat at all SD 400 was one of the most overused chipset what I am trying to tell is optimization is the key.
