That's why they slowly getting rid of the physical component that deem unnecessary. They even discuss with Apple on launching e-sim to get rid of physical sim card by next year. All of those sim tray and sd card tray will eventually dissappear. This movement of getting rid of sd slot is even supported by Hugo Barra, Xiaomi's VP. They said sd card slows the phone down.

So, the bump is worth it to just about everyone. As far as SD support: that still remains to be seen.

Yet another sam-e-sung which will be sent to warehouses worldwide and most of the stock will stay there. People tend to have more and more knowledge and common sense these days and not buing sha-me-less Sam-e-sung phones with 1 year old OS which will only be supported for another year maybe 1,5 when it comes to updates.

NOTE 3 have 3GB RAM, NOTE 4 have 3GB RAM, Note Edge have 3gb RAM, S6 have 3GB RAM and if this Note 5 still have a 3GB Ram, goodbye sammy! Hello iPhone 6s Plus!(1gb ram on iphone 6 is better than 4gb ram on android phones)

- NO removable battery (if battery dies after warranty u r screwed)
- No usb type c (not futureproof)
- No infrared blaster
- No FM radio (data stream eat ur money)
- No 4K resolution (vr stuff)
- No camera upgrade
- No support (too busy makin a million phones)
- No front facing speakers
- No slim top and bottom
- No note edge 2
- No dual boot
- only 2 colors at launch
- Crapple design
- No faux/real leather (Glass back for fingerprints)
- No reason to upgrade
- No money 4 Sammy

+ I could live with no removable battery, but NO SD card? WTF #2?
+ The colors are the same as HTC M9's, I just hope it's made of metal like what HTC are doing.
Well other than that it's exactly the same as the Note 4 - Copy & Paste, then badge it "Note 5" and sell it as an upgrade! WTF #3?!

I hate that the internet is taking all of these rumors as fact. This render is old, and as I read on another site has been on the case company's site for months. That pretty much tells me that's a place holder image.
Secondly. I don't believe that we will get a glass back on the Note series. People are just assuming that since they are releasing the S6+ at the same time that they will be twins. I don't think so. The Note has been trying to separate itself from the S series since the Note 3. And even though it releases around the same time as the IPhone it generally competes against other Android Phablet. That said I'm expecting the faux leather to be ditched for ginuine leather. However the addition of wireless charging and Samsung's new internal memory guarantee no SD and No Swappable battery.
Which is fine because who really carries 60gb of media these days? What are people doing downloading bluerays on their phones? Not to mention Google has been pushing Android away from SD cards for the past 2 years. In a year or 2 the OS probably won't even support them anymore.

This is smart.
1. Curved back means this phone is confortable to hold.
2. They can use the metal frame for the edged variant, by make the curved back The edged display. So note 5 edge will have flat back and different button placement.

If it does not have expandable memory & removable battery.....keep it 128gb internal and 5000mah battery..it will be another deal breaker....

A sure buy....with or with removable battery and micro sd card. Samsung ur still the game changer. U have my money and i dont care how much it will cost☺☺😆😆
