Samsung launches monitors with built-in wireless charging pads

27 July, 2015
Whether you like it or not, the Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 edge ditched the replaceable battery, but introduced built-in wireless (or should we say inductive) charging capability, and there's not much to complain about that.

AnonD-416109, 27 Jul 2015It would be better if they replace induction charging with ... morenot as mature as coil induction charging...... theoretically it can happen... but not so soon~~

Another useless idea. It just means that the price of said monitor is more expensive and majority of cellphones owners don't even have the aforementioned phones to begin with.

Well look at that. Someone at Samsung had a pretty good idea. Give credit where credit is due I guess!

It would be better if they replace induction charging with magnetic resonance charging like what WiTricity does.

Integrating wireless charging pad into everday object is a good move. I have seen some cafe already integrate this on their tables. They should put built-in wireless charger in cars and public transport next.

Your phone can play movies. Is it necessary? It may not be a necessity but it surely is innovative.
