i think they should inundate all carriers with models. it seems like they only have 1 model per carrier, as opposed to sammy which has 50 different models per. i usually buy mine unlocked from online because my carrier only carries one model.

sony jst need to cut their prices 600$ is a hamdsome price z series and 200 to 300 $ for their mid ranger to compete and increase his sales if he do this sony will earn profit instead of loss in mobile division......................and their LED tv are amazing samsung never compete sony in LED in colours quality sharpness sony is good in all reason of decline of sony is charging high prices.....prices down is produce more customer who currenty use cheap huwaie cheap quality sammy,,,,

Answer is simple. High prices and new coming los procedentes high specs chinesse phones....pleople at Asia is buying meizu, zte, etc instead high priced Sony phones...so, if Sony dont cut proceso they will be down un sales.

Further i think sony should have 2 entry level devices.
If sony could only release phones that users prefer for examplelike
Sony E5 with mtk 6732 5inch hd display and great design with less than 9.5mm thickness. Price less than 150$
Sony L5 or any other name with Snapdragon 410/415 5 inch and 4.5 inch 2 versions.less than 180$.
All the 2 phones should have great design and great camera with shutter button. Camera should 8mp/5mp for sure.
If sony could release these kind of proposed phones they can gain more profits.

The problem with sony is that they donot study the mobile phone market and release phones to make consumers interested in them.best example is sony e4,e4g,e3.which were utter failure. E3 had bad design and lack of storage. E4 was lumia style washed out display and with outdated android kitkat and no lollipop.
Sony should focus more on entry level high quality phones as well.
Apple and samsung rule the highend.
Due to this reason sony mobile should increase sales from low and midrange.

sony is in error, the reason that wants to take more than the normal profit should produce smartphone but with a lower price than Samsung and LG, as for example, a new 4.6inch smartphone out in the market that Sony E5663 with MediaTek MT6795 chip should be low price, which will encourage more buyers, and will return the smile of sony ;)

There is only one way to gain profit....just cut the price of flagship...around 400-500 would be good....just look at Motorola as a prime example and how they put price on new Moto X

Today Samsung and Apple dominate market with "We have best ..." slogans. Sony cant talk about something like that. (Design and size can be change for people)
