This is a joke right? 100 euro of the price? I'm from the Netherlands and know that last month Samsung had a Cash-back action on the S6 and S6 Edge of.... yes 100 euro.

Galaxy S6 32GB 500EUR (including VAT).
Galaxy S6 Edge 32 580EUR (including VAT).

Still no change in the banana republic of Slovenia.
S6 32Gb 800 euros
S6 Edge 32Gb 950 euros
We'll see if they drop the prices, knowing how gredy they are they won't drop it by a single cent.

Just bought S6 32gig for 699, 2 days ago only to wake up today to see its prices has been reduced. this is my last smart phone, to hell with all of them. :-(

sorry but in Germany you can buy for 599euro S6 32GB since over a month in mediamarkt. poor dutches haha.

I feel that Samsung is not going to see enough of an increase in sales to make up for the shortfall in per unit revenue.
But worse still, the future looks even more threatening: the iPhone continues to dominate and will likely slowly continue eating into the overall market share of Android, especially at the higher end, but also mid market as the iPhone 6 and even 5s become more affordable when the new iPhones are launched. But whilst we all have heard how the Chinese makers have hammered Samsung at the affordable end, just check out GSMArenas reviews of the new Huawei Honor 7, the OnePlus 2 and the various Oppos, ZTEs that are also going high end. These phones offer anywhere from about ~85% to virtually 100% of the style, quality and functionality of the high end Samsungs from anywhere from 75% to 50% the price of the Korean firms. Sales of these high end handsets are small for now, but as soon as more people find out about them...

Samsung used glass back because metal back cannot be used for wireless charging. Thats why apple never have wireless charging. Overpriced? Oh, please. Blame your country currency. In Malaysia we can buy Galaxy S6 32gb for as low as $497 and that is even before the price cut.
