Weird it's being released now, in the EU of all places, although the country list isn't surprising. Looks like the kind of product they would dump in India and Africa.

I own the normal s4 mini which was released in 2013. Considering it's size, for me it is still the best phone around. I'm not a fanboy at all, but compared to the recently and same priced moto g, this one offers nfc, a infrared port, has a removable battery and it is not that fat as the moto g either. I don't get why people pay 200 bucks for a moto g 3rd edition, and I neither get why samy is re-releasing this phone too.

Samsung Fanboy, 03 Aug 2015This has almost as much processing power as the new Motorol... morereally not so much faster. i have l90 with qHD and compared to Moto G 2gen 720p of my friend. based ON MY EXPERIENCE, side to side, both don't have any difference. qhd to 720p isn't that big gap. samsung s4 mini plus has the heavyweight touchwiz, this must be less smooth than my l90..... as I already compared to anothers snapdragon 400 sub-hd samsungs.

I'll guess the SuperAMOLED Plus machines that churn the 4.26" qHD display are not still paid for, and that Qualcomm no longer makes the amazing (for its time) 8930AB. In theory, Sammy could have brought Lollipop and even a 64-bits version for this phone, but my bet is that will never, ever happen.

This has almost as much processing power as the new Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen! A quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and an Adreno 306 GPU. However the S4 mini has less pixels to push around so must be faster!
