Hi....I am not finding samsung galaxy a8 (gold)...black and white colours are available....some people says samsung has stopped supplying a8....so should I wait to get gold one or go for black????? (price of gold is high at some online stores than black)

bro you are 3 years behind technology.....are u crazy??? comapring A8 with note 3......what makes me wonder is u still use note 1 and guess what you are happy with it...i personally believe u will be happy with micromax too so go for 10k phone with dual sim and all...

I am using this A8 for past 10 days. Good phone but I hate the two plastic lines above and below the phone edges. Samsung key board is also not smooth. All others perfect

The Exynos 5430 processor comes on 20 nm fabrication and it actually is a beast. The performance to power ratio is unmatched in this range and even better than 5433 (Note 4 processor). 5433 (4 x A57 + 4 x A53) provides about 20-30% performance jump over 5430 but consumes 50% more power in doing so. This is easily better than Snapdragon 615, 800, 801, 805 or Exynos 5422. So the Indian version of A8 is worth a buy (maybe not now but after few months). For now Alpha (with same 5430 processor) available at 23-24 k is a better buy.

Well at this time the galaxy alpha will be better option (at least for India) as it has same chipaet has nice camera same metal body and Samsung recently declared that it will get at least updates of android m and is available at price of 22000 rs ( approx 350$ ) at online sites

Sorry I m not interested in A8 I m waiting for note5 note series is best in all models in Samsung and compare to all company models.

Samsung is trying to make fool of people by using cortex a15 cores... I was gonna buy this phone nd then i came to c these fact nd sorry samsung now no more products from u.. all good things r for china.. Go away from india

Anonymous, 04 Aug 2015A8 is cool as compared to note4 which is less in camera an... moreBro if u really interested in buying note 3 and ur a genuine commenter thn let me tell u i have had bought note 3 before 2months and the overall performance is good but not great .. minor minor issues here and there can be seen.. getting one irritating issues from the start which is apps are getting stopped.. i suppose coz of the older hardware not compatible with the new updates of the apps,games however phone been updated 3 times due to the same issue from authorized samsung service center. another issue is heating issues which is according to samsung is normal as phone have lot many features.. another issue is freezing issues twice phone got freezed being a 3 gb ram phone & 32 gb storage phone. we expect more from this phone as its a premium product from samsung it costed me 34thousand in total.. Choice is urs now..

A8 is cool as compared to note4 which is less in camera and single sim with only 1 gb ram extra. However, i feel buying note 3 is better as its only of 26000/- and very much price saving till next year i.e. the time both note4 and A8 will come atleast 15000/- down. I waited 2 years for note 3 price to come down as there is no sense in spending hard earned money on latest phones which hardly maintain their price and position in this fast evolving techy market. i am still happy with my note1 and now want to change after 3 years .Only confusion is shall i go with A8 because of its double sim advantage as it doesnt possess gorilla glass or with Note3 which is quite fast in all ways yet has only 1 sim. Also in INDIA note3 comes without 4g........So Plzzzzzzz HELP me choose the right one......

I loved this phone and had decided that my next phone will be Samsung A8.
It was announced as a mid ranger.
But when I saw the price, I stepped back.
It should have priced around 22000 INR at the best.

What a loosy term is that midrange.
It has an all metal body which is slimmer less than 6mm and despite that fact has 3050mAh battery, narror bezels less than 3mm on each side, 5.7 inch FHD Super AMOLED display which is more expensive than LCD counterparts, 16MP main camera, fingerprint scanner and a 20nm chipset head to head previous year's flagship chips also without question superior than the SD615 both CPU and GPU wise with a healty margin today and on the future despite the fact it's 32-bit. You are lucky to get Exynos instead to weaker the SD615 which is usually accompanied by heating complains.

It would be too much for anyone to spend extra 1000 rupees for a tempered glass. Moreover, this would add another millimeter or so to the thickness of the phone. Shame coz its could have been an excellent phone.

A8 Samsung already available in Viet Nam country but the price is so expensive... I don't understand why Samsung can release with this price ~500$. I can buy many phone mid-range with same price as HTC M8 or LG G3... Samsung always introduce your product with high price but drop down fast in sort time..
