Windows wins in all tests!!!??? :) ya right,,, stop smoking whatever you're smoking. I have been a Nokia employee since 2008 and since launching windows sh*t, things were deteriorating and company was spending lots of money to activate a single phone. There are some advantages for windows, but those are apparently irrelevant for the mass... Microsoft has been using trial and error in defining a strategy to penetrate the SD universe and now their objective is cloud and mobility (Mobility does not require windows devices, as Microsoft is installing, selling and giving its services for all platforms).

Rarely a week goes past without some new security issue with Android. Pay attention to the reports and the warning from USA officials as to the ease at which your mobile can be hacked, particularly Android.

Well windows fans represent 2.7% of smart phones users and Android around 83%. Am not sure how can windows (the outdated platform) out performs Android!!!! Even windows will all the efforts and activation cost is not crossing the 4% share....

Windows vs. Android currently goes like this:
- stability: Windows wins
- performance: Windows wins
- resource use optimisation: Windows wins
- interface: Windows wins (Android actually started copying Windows's flat interface with their material design; also Windows has live desktop items, while Android has old-style icons)
- customizability: Android wins (but that's because Windows's interface is far better designed and it doesn't need customization)
- productivity: Windows wins
- number of apps in store: Android wins
- quality of apps in store: Windows wins
- battery management: Windows wins
- basic apps (contacts, calendar, messaging, etc.) quality: Windows wins
- personal assistants: Cortana (Windows) wins
- ease of use: Windows wins
- security: Windows wins
- updates: Windows wins
And these are comparisons between Win 8.1 and Android 5.x.
Windows 10 will be even better.

Nokia + Android = Greatness... nokia fan am not sure what r u smoking but i totally disagree with you. I used windows and android and Android is 1 million light yrs ahread of windows... Quantity and Quality of the apps... user interface, customization,,,,,,
Nokia only option to ckme back is Android or multi platform. Microsoft is clueless about what to do.next... trial and error 😂 and lets hope we succeed...

You can have a Windows phone run for months without having to restart it. Android needs at least weekly restarts.
As iOS cannot be used by other companies, the only other available and mature enough OS out there is Windows. All tests show that Windows is countless times more stable and reliable than Android is, therefore it is the only good option for Nokia. (besides an updated Symbian)

Nokia is well known for their quality, reliable products, so using Android for their phones was not an option, as it is not a reliable OS, nor it is stable or have a polished look.
When they decided they won't be using Symbian anymore, the only OS options that would've been on par with their quality, were iOS and Windows. Since Apple doesn't allow other companies to use their software, the only remaining option was Windows.
If Nokia starts manufacturing phones again, Windows would still be the best OS option for them, as it is way more polished, reliable and has better performance than Android.
I agree though, that if they started using Android, they wouldn't have had to stop making phones and their business would still be running, but it would've make them a mediocre phone company. (because that's what Android is: mediocre)

nokia fan , 06 Aug 2015what kind of device do u use ...usually people who gets low... moreyes dud i really agree with you nokia compnay is the most top smartphone as we c nokia lunch the windows and they are the first company and smartphone have 41mega pixel camera, and they area the first who use intel processor and wireless charging, optimized mobilization of the camera, and most of all back in nokia lumia 800 and 900 they are the first who use the gorillas , other company follow like samsung apple. see for your self the droptest of samsung galaxy s2 and iphone wich is nokia already realease na lumio 800 & 900

It is no official company related to Nokia! It is a chinese company. You should better check your sources! It is sold (if) by Colourful (2018) Limited, incorporation Date: 10 April 2015. Crappy name with crappy softwarewhat kind of device do u use ...usually people who gets low end hardware states that other manufactures options are crap.... imo nokia name is not crap problem was that it got dirty due to a bad choice... if u are not atleast a 22 years old guy ...living the nokia trend please do not comment ..if u never used a nokia n series device dont even metion its name. nokia name is being used by another company for now..lets see what happens upcoming years when nokia is back manufacturing phones ...it might happen or it might not it is ok but i can tell u that brands like samsung /lg / apple right now has the nokia customers.. . thats why they are the only competition but im sure if nokia had been playing at the beggining of the os battles nokia using android ... im sure it still could be appearing as the #1 device manufacture as it used to be.

Although it's a Nokia product, the fact that it has nothing special compared to other Android tablets out there makes it uninteresting. And the launcher made by Nokia is very boring in my opinion.
