Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe and Zenfone 2 Laser go official

ASUS would always release a NEW product/lineup as a mid to upper mid tier offering.
Once it is successful, they would then offer a good flagship
This has been their tactic ever since entering the mobile industry.
As such, don't be surprised once they come up with a new flagship by end of this year with the laser auto focus and 13MP front facing camera and LED equipped with fingerprint sensor.
However, I still feel like they are lagging behind their release dates for every flagship. Other OEMs would always release a new one first.

1st is 5inch 720p IPS LCD , 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 , 2GB RAM , 16GB internal storage , 4G dual SIM @ INR 9999
2nd is 5.5inch 720p IPS LCD , 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 , 3GB RAM , 16GB internal storage , dual SIM @ INR 13999...!

Zenfone 2 Deluxe is a beauty. If it is as shiny as the render then people will definitely buy it. Too good to be passed.

Why they didn't put a metal trim around is beyond me, not much point of a removeable back without more options either.

1080p on a 5.5 inch screen? I've seen 1080 on... moreThe only reason they were terrible was/is their color reproduction. At only 5.5 inches 1080p is almost the maximum the human eye can perceive at typical viewing distances (8-10 inches).
Any more and it's a waste of battery/resources.
So yeah that's probably their best choise. Can't the same about the SoC in question or the lack of Mhl...
