I have heard that Mediatek has started releasing sources but haven't seen the same for 6795 till date. I would love to be corrected.

This is Xiaomi we're talking about.. SD or MT doesn't matter at updates, either will be at about the same pace of rollouts anyways

I doubt it would be 250$ as that's over the 16gig version of the mi4 and very close to the 64gig model price. And mi4 is just a overall better package than the leaked specs here, except the smaller 5 inch 1080p screen.

If it comes with Mediatek SoC then it might never receive an update. If it comes with SD615 it will overheat. Lose-lose situation for consumers.

I've seen exactly that placeholder already about two weeks ago at oppomart. I think we should not expect the spec sheet to be true, it's just a placeholder.
