Google got the Project Ara for some reasons, one of the reasons is to let customers have the right to know which part of their smartphone is faulty and removable. So Samsung, pls retain the removable battery pls. Android is about customization, not the Apple way.

They clearly said that the battery charged faster AND was bigger.. that was a lie.. the battery is smaller than its predecessor! Doesn't matter if the processor is more efficient or the screen or if TouchWiz is being improved. The battery is smaller and and cant be removed. I would prefer a 4,100mAh battery removable any day before a quick wireless charge dock.

Come on Samsung - you're not fooling anyone with your cost-cuts.

AnonD-424566, 13 Aug 2015Yeah i know where your coming from.but i meant if your out ... moreUni-bodied phones have more limitations/disadvantages because some people want to show off their a FRACTION of a millimeter thinner phone. Let's see all the bending test with the Note 5. So far, the Note 3 came out as the sturdier than a Note 4. Bendy phone means prone to bending the battery inside - kaboom!

The main fact is, batteries have a 300 charge cycle life. Even if the common folk will think of carrying power banks, it doesn't make a difference. The only way to reduce this is light usage - turn off all notifications, turn off data, funny install so many apps, don't play games, don't download... who wants to do that?!

So ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this so called "upgrade" with the Note 5.

AnonD-424566, 13 Aug 2015Lol,thats like strapping a car battery to your phone.not go... moreIt's so simple - put in the used battery into the battery charger cradle and connect ot a power source. If anyone's really want a good full charge HOLD, you can replace 300-cycle old batteries with spares.

Yes, I do carry at least a spare battery and not need to bring a bag.

JY, 13 Aug 2015but they have been forced too as no one bought the s5 and n... moreI do understand that it's tough...but they are making impulse short term decision. Right now, iphones are dominating and the only reason is branding/marketing...the fact that the s4 was a relatively buggy phone with battery issues made people migrate to iphones last year instead of giving the s5/note 4 a chance, which are vastly superior to the i6...but i think samsung should continue improving in the departments they got criticized for, mainly battery life...they seem to not care about that at all and simply focus on build quality.

I am not saying build quality is not important, but on the long run people will eventually go back to android once they get bored of the same cheap trite that apple releases every year, iphones with poor battery performace, poor camera, etc...but they will not go to samsung if samsung turns into having the same apple mentality...

There is no problem with note 4 sales, price has not come down in the last 8 months BUT now will fall with this Note 5 coming

Anonymous, 13 Aug 2015Exactly the same SoC as the S6 and S6 Edge from a few month... moreWhy S6...?

Note 5 is what Note 4 is like for S5 is for S6.

Stick with note 4.. or S5.. else don't bother is better.
