Yea so when is the android 5.1 update rolling out on the m8?? August is coming to an end, so when at all is the update rolling out? I won't buy a htc phone again tho.

hey htc what happen to the promised update of htc one m8 as usuall promises.... i will never buy htc phone again

Heads up to other users, this OTA update completely bricked my M9. It won't turn on (or even show a charging light) now. I took it to a Verizon store and they confirmed that it is dead and needs to be replaced.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2015I think this is a lie...i don't have my update yet. Seems you did not read an important sentence of such a shot article: "The update will start rolling out over-the-air today, but as usual do expect it to take a while for it to reach all the devices out there."
Still think it's a lie?....

Guys.. Tell me whether is it support for the background call answer after the update.. My htc runing android 5.0.2 does not support incoming calls in background.. But runing same android version of sony devices supporeted for background incoming call feature..

Really well built phone with nice sofware, sense is the best android skin, it is snappy and looks good
