I have it more fine grained:
1. low range: -150$ (cheap chinese phones, Moto E,...) - anything with SD200
2. low-mid: 150-250$ (Moto G, Samsung S3 Neo, Oppo R5s,...) - anything with SD410, IMHO it's pretty good
3. mid: 250-350$ (LG G2, Moto X,...) - older previous flaships
4. mid-highend: 350-500$ (LG G3, Samsung GS5, Sony Z3C,...) - 1 year old flagships
5. highend / flagship area: 500+$ (Samsung GS6, Note5, Apple,...)

AnonD-81610, 26 Aug 2015I'm curious. What do you call the Moto E then? Or those 70... moreBudget. Moto can sell it for $300+ and fools would still buy it. I know specs is not everything but there are phone out there doing same thing at a more pocket friendly price.

Anonymous, 26 Aug 2015$220 is not really a budget phone price. Actual budget pric... moreDepends how you see it. For me a phone carrying SD410 is a budget phone as simple as that. Just because they priced it higher doesn't mean it is any better than let's say Redmi 2.

If you're deaf, then the r5s is a no brainer over the moto g. Does no one care about the lack of headphone jack?

Umbilical Noose, 26 Aug 2015Its a budget phone genius.$220 is not really a budget phone price. Actual budget prices would be ones like the LG Leon LTE, new for $70 to $130 while having the same CPU/GPU as the $220 Moto G.

Oppo's main Global site lists the phone with a US variant and LTE support. Pretty sure such a phone doesn't exist though.

only the foolish would buy this ripping-off Oppo. It's not budget but rather outdated specs with rather high prices.

Just illustrates again how overpriced the Moto G has become this generation. Budget specs with a mid-ranger's price. Too bad this Oppo doesn't support LTE in U.S. and lacks micro-sd.
