May be it is too much for them and they really want to exit the mobile market, or sell it to another company) but looking for a excuse or a big failure. Samy if this is your wish you got it man.
Failures:
1. Europe won't get the Note5: We (Samsung) decide for them...You can get Edge 6+
2. Note users no need of SD cards: We decide for them....You save your files on USB OTG storage or on clouds. 32GB (or 64GB) is more than enough for you.
3. Note users no need of removable battery: We decide for them. Get Samsung battery pack.

Not having micro SD card really sucks. Smaller battery and non removable, also not providing the dual sim options on the flagship is extremely bad..

funny thing...
...I have a close friend (hi Luke) that happens to work with o2 and he had a briefing just this week with Samsung regarding the new s6 edge and was flat out told "there was no market in the UK for the Note 5 and it was unlikely to enter the market in the UK"

The Note 5 (sorry, Note5) is a lesson in how not to launch a phone. One minute "yes", the next minute "no". $ammy does not take its customers seriously.

samsung never said they wouldnt release this device did they? its just a belief that ONLY USA and Asia will get it.....for now at least, to me it sounded kinda stupid to forget the whole of europe as a sales target, a place where the note series has sold really well.
fingers crossed they stagnated the release to meet demand and yields considering the device went on sale 12hrs after official announcements in some countries, or at the very least they realised they made an error in missing europe
