so is Samsung also the 5.4 inch curved display in this one for Blackberry?
it already has the 5.1 S6 Edge and 5.7 S6 Edge + curved displays on its phones,
wonder what the price will be as curved display phone tend to sell at a premium but this does not look like an all metal or glass phone its got plastic so lets hope its around $650 CAD

One of best device of 2015? A slider.
It looks like this one will be great device. Been silently hyped for this little slider device since it first appeared, a slider, with best keyboard in market.
*I don't mind BB10 OS with sideloadable Android apps. (I know it isn't perfect, has flaws)
*I will not mind Android with BB features. [will love it if will be as functional as BB10]
Security concerns don't matter to me as much smooth performance, hub, multitasking and other features that adds to "getting work done", that is if I will use them and they won't be just a gimmick.
I was ready to jump in BB world with this one, because other BlackBerry devices either had smaller squareish screen, not good for media, or lacked psychical keyboard, finally they reintroduced slider from factor, which is awesome(why not faster?).
And if BlackBerry decided to go Android, then this is the right, best device to do it with.
Really, nothing to blame with hardware here, quite opposite: specs are amazing, at least great: Snappy 808[this year better choice than 810]; 3GB ram, 18MP OIS camera, 5.4inch QHD display, best of all, form factor, that really wins me over to this device, because of screen estate, landscape mode for optimal media consumption and powerful keyboard when needed, which comes out in a pretty cool way.
If it were to be BB10 device, I would still jump in, as an Android device I think many Androidians will feel more comfortable to be able to use all play store apps without worries of crashing and sideloading hussle, not for average Joe. And familiar Android ecosystem seems to be safer choice for those afraid to go BB10, even if BB will overdo it's layer too much, which I personally wouldn't mind, it will still count as Android, so there's that.
                  + Interesting thought...
BlackBerry been updating it's own device well, wonder how it will do with Android BB, interesting to see, if this will be some sort of BB Nexus with constant updates, which compared to another manufactures will be major plus too. I expect pricing to be high.
So are you excited about new BlackBerry Venice or you have some doubts about it?

Looks liek a cool device, however, it is NOTHING Blackberry other than its hardware. Glad Samsung provided an 18MP Camera, and the BB slide out keyboard bet it rocks. The OS itself, all droid. I wonder if it has the Blackberry HUB on the side (like HTC Sense does on the side). And I am sure no more Swipe up for Multi Task or Swipe down for app options.. I will wait but not exactly excited about the droid OS.
