Looking forward for the launch of z5 series. I am using xperia z ultra as a secondary phone(actually for mobile data and wifi) and I never regreted in buying it. Its a great machine except for the camera. Design wise sony devices are truly a class ahead of other manufacturers.

Z5 compact is 720p@ 4.6 inch.

no matter if it had 4k display ,4gb ram but with an old fashioned design. no change in design so i would rather purchase samsung note 5 or htc's new device

with a same design sony had at least 50+ mobile models not talking about other specs.now another three with a same design .............................. would they be able to inspire the public..............very difficult.
sony ,htc and to some extents nokia are not changing their outlooks. why

Given Sony's proven performance with the compact n the bigger one it sure will be a success.The premium is something new in mobile world tho'.the first two should be priced in a 100$ gap.the giant can stretch the price as much as it wants after all its the phone to beat now.expecting superb batt life n thanks for the fingerprint reader sony.resolution was well thought of too.Will miss the old power button but change is inevitable..Proper marketing could see Sony take the crown,I strongly approve them.

What's the benefit of 4K on 5.5" screen, really?!?!
On the other hand, Z5C could noticeably benefit from a 1080p screen.
Moreover, when will Z6 be released? H1 of 2016?

320-330 PPI is the bare minimum a flagship phone should have.
Anything less and you will start to notice the pixels.
1080p is perfect for screen sizes between 4.5- 6.5 inches.

I hope they give a microscope or at least a magnifying glass free with the Z5 Premium.
Only then would we, the homo sapiens, be able to enjoy the UHD screen !
