You meant to say Opera WAS the best, until they joined the evil WebKit team.
I'm still using Opera 11.64 for my mobile javascript development.
For the guy asking what RAM is:
RAM is how much memory you have in your computer. And since that is usually pretty limited (this is not storage memory (HDD, SDD)!) it's crucial for app developers to optimize their apps.
To figure out how much RAM do you have and how much of that it's free, find and run "Task Manager".

So it's not too bad :P

So, this explains my problems for the past few days. Goggle Chrome has stopped working on my system. It crashes immediately after I start it. I have tried multiple things to fix this, uninstall/reinstall, renamed/deleted the profile folder, looked at services.exe and even worked with msconfig.exe. The only way chrome works now is when the PC is booted into safe mode. In safe mode, I ran chrome:conflicts and no conflicts were found. Other browsers work perfectly fine (Firefox and Safari), no problems when running under a normal boot. I've connectivity, speedtest on this PC and on another device return the same high speed results. I've run Malwarebytes, AVG, JRT.exe to try to find any and all bad actors. Still, Google Chrome has stopped working immediately when I have launched it.
The only thing that might be a problem is that I have my host file set to do the following, and I am not going to change this just to run a browser.

Sites have timeouts in cases where you are logged in or are entering sensitive information mostly for security reasons. Don't blame Chrome for that ;)

It handles well on my 4 year old laptop.
No slow, no freeze, no crash (to be honest crashes never were my problem).
But there is one bug (may be isn't a bug,but annoys me).
Sites who use rc4 for encryption, wouldn't open, because FF wants newer SSL.
Well, digging in "about:config" solves problem and updates as well ,but a few days later comes again.

so i am working on something move to something else for a while. turns out what i've done has suddenly disappeared!! all the data i had entered there is gone! my session has expired!
what a lousy mobile-phone way of implementing a solution. google must really be in dire need of actually decent engineers rather than mere dreamers and non-executers. they need better thinkers frankly.

still doesn't suggest good memory handling. does good memory handling involve closing stuff rather than running things efficiently? the definition must've changed at google (alone).

Chrome 64-bit is faster to start than Firefox in my case (Asus lappy with AMD A4)
I have both Firefox and Chrome too on all of my laptops and I liked them.

When Firefox failed with Version 4 I embraced chrome. When Firefox version 14 was out I left memory hungry Chrome behind and returned to Firefox. Won't leave Firefox ever again. A little bit of tweaking here and there and it's the perfect (also Open-Source) browser
