So I'm one of the disappointed Customers that been waiting for normal sized Nexus... Now when I'm turned off by the size of it, the SnapD 810 starting to bother me even more!
IS it really is overheating? I've tried to find the truth about it, some write that it's just BS started by Samsung since they make their own Processors... other say that only early versions heat up, and in some (HTC) it still heats(Not OVERheats tho) while in others (OnePlus Two) it's stable...
So I Don't know what to believe, some write there's a Version 2 of 810 that doesn't heats...
And now there are also rumors that SnapD 615 also Overheats?! I mean WTF... all the phones I chose from (Z9 mini, Nexus 5X, Gigaset Me/Pure) all got SnapD 810 or 615... So do I avoid both or what?

AnonD-439528, 13 Sep 2015Crap battery as usual.LG must be really dumb.... Nexus 5 2300 Battery wasn't enough for the 5" FHD Screen.... Do they really think that extra 400 mAh would be enough, considering extra 0.2" to light up?!
Plus there's a chance it would be QHD in which case I won't even considering this phone even if it costs 99$.
Long Story is Short: LG Had to Take the Nexus 5, and upgrade Camera, Battery and the processor.... and THAT'S ALL! Maybe a little Design Tweaking adding Metal... and THAT would be the PERFECT Nexus 5X... But instead they Screw it up with this ugly Nokia wannabe....
For me, anything that is 5"+ is an oversized Phablet, not a One Hand Phone... I'm crossing this phone already for it's stupid trendy size, and I'm sure there are many customers like me.
Looking forward to Gigaset Me release...

Commenters and all their whining remarks about the battery being 'just 2700mAh'. What I find more remarkably disappointing is how they seem to comment as if they've tested, tried, used or experienced Android 6.0 Marshmallow long enough on a 5" with 1080p display (or a Nexus 5X, in particular, which hasn't been outed yet) to already conclude the 2700mAh battery capacity as a disappointment. Since the Nexus 5X hasn't been released yet, much more so an in-depth review of its battery

AnonD-438647, 10 Sep 2015Yea, even I am not a fan of ridiculously high resolutions. ... moreThe 2014 N6 is a higher tier device than the N5 2015, you might want to keep this in mind. Just because something is released after something else doesn't automatically make it better, even for a Nexus device. So why get the N5 2015 and not the 2014 N6? Well, the N5 2015 will be getting more Android updates as it's released one year later, so that's what you'll be getting...and smaller screen which I personally think is an advantage, but that's my own personal taste.

I have a 2013 N5 which has 2GB RAM and I can safely say it does great for multitasking even between heavy 3D games and chat apps (no reloads 90% of the time) or browsers. What I WILL recommend you is to avoid ALL task cleaners at all times and only resort to that if the app is frozen and there's no other way to get rid of it. Android itself does a much better job at managing RAM than you/me/some other useless app.

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2015You DO realize the hardware in it is not a top-of-the-line ... moreYea, even I am not a fan of ridiculously high resolutions. Afterall, the laptops and TVs we use everyday have way less ppi, and we're never left demanding for more.
RAM-wise, well, I'm yet to use a 2 GB RAM phone, so dunno if it will be enough. I'm still using the 1st gen moto g, which struggles due to the low RAM. I'm damn frustrated.. Because it is not at all short on processing power even today. All I need is RAM (because even after clearing the recent apps; Facebook, Truecaller, WhatsApp, my work email app, Play Music, Yahoo mail, Keyboard, Google Play Services, 2-3 apps from Motorola, and a few others are still there eating up the RAM).
Launcher redraws are quite frequent. Opening more than one tab in chrome is a pain in the a$$. Cannot multi-task between more than 2 apps at a time.

So, all I want to say is, according to my usage, I don't need much processing power, but enough RAM. If I have to buy a 2GB RAM phone, won't I rather buy a Moto G 3rd gen or Xiaomi Mi 4i?

Wait a sec! Even Nexus 6 (2014) has 3GB RAM. So, definitely there is something wrong with this leak.

AnonD-438647, 10 Sep 2015I sincerely hope that this "2GB RAM" is a typo.. ... moreYou DO realize the hardware in it is not a top-of-the-line SoC that can handle everything right? Even if you do put 3GB in it, unless you plan to open a billion tabs in Chrome, you will just barely get any benefit what so ever for having it. The same logic was used for the screen - 1080p is just perfect for today's standards, 2k would be better but it would drain more battery AND make the phone more expensive, so why do it?
Also, even the highest-end games don't need more than 1.2GB RAM at any given time.
Keep in mind that the idea behind the Nexus line is not to give you the best of the best, it's to give you exactly what you need at the best price possible with no added BS to it.

Would I like for it to be 3GB? Yeah, of course. Will I change my mind about buying it if it's really 2GB? Nope.

Also, am I the only one thinking that it's a strange coincidence that this has a 12.XMP camera and Google Photos coincidentally gives you free storage for up to 13MP pictures and 1080p videos?
