Having used the Yotaphone 2, can't wait for the next release. Hopefully ZTE do not cut corners otherwise, that'll be the end of a 'dare-to-be-different' smartphone.

Well, living in russia outside peter and Moscow, no one sell yotaphone 1 or 2. The reasons? Too expensive!!! For this price one can buy an iPhone 6

It would be awesome to have an all e-ink set of smart devices. I wonder why Yotaphone didn't work with Pebble instead of ZTE. Pebble can make color e-ink. Black and white e-ink is boring. Go buy an Amazon Kindle to complete the set.

did anyone test how many hours a Samsung phone with Ultra power saving mode ON would last? they say a Note 4 can last like a full day with only 10% battery. this feature would make the dual screen useless I guess

I would love to have a smartphone with just an e-ink screen.
Imagine the battery life! And it could still have a killer camera and killer specs... just a high performance e-ink... that would be my dreamphone! Sans android... android is little more than a virus

But we are getting very much of topic here. The interesting idea of the YotaPhone should not be 'poluted' by all this Iphone talk.
The Yota2 was on my 'short list' of devices I considered buying, upgrading from the Ancient Sony .
Despite being a bit on the large size for one hand operation. I found the combination of a FHD primary display and an e-ink display quite appealing.
So the Yota3 is something I will keep an eye on...

You should post it on iphone 6 page to give revelation how foolish Apple user had been all this years. I will never buy an iphone. Used it once too. Just like you said, the messaging apps is terrible. Overall, the ios software very half-baked even in ios v8.3. Beta software all over it.

Why do you say that? Ive used both the previous phones and they are excellent - a little hefty ergonomically, but functionally very good...
