Upcoming second generation Chromecast design and features leak

The second generation Chromecast launch is around the corner, and 9to5Google has received some documents that reveal the device's new design and some of the new features.

They look like Christmas tree ornaments, makes sense since Jesus' birthday is only a few months away. I hope some of the added features like Fast Play and Chromecast Audio are offered through a firmware update or the original (and better looking) model.

    Just a thought. If it is going to be plugged in behind the TV and be hidden, why would Google go to the bother of producing it in different colours?

        Really? Pan? I guess google expect people to reserve all the tv connections to this bulki thing!even if its small it will be bulki

              First of all, it's ugly.
              Secondly, it will eat a whole lot of space so that the adjacent USB port cannot be plugged in with any other thumb drive or so.

                  It does not make sense. If the pointy end is an HDMI connector, it is much bigger than the current chromecast, and it is really ugly. It looks like an USB-C connector, but then you won't be able to use it with most tvs..
