This is a bit confusing, LG copies Samsung, Microsoft takes the name Continuum from Samsung as well, and I don't know what the hell they mean by "64GB of expandable storage!," does that mean it supports up to 64GB microSD cards or it has 64GB of built-in internal flash storage?!

I know a bunch of people love the company, but I simply am not going to buy a substandard device which that phone is because it is like one of two new smartphones in the world being made which does not have NFC. In three weeks time the opo people will realized what a big mistake they made when google et al have a massive roll out of android pay everywhere in both the known and unknown universe. Many of us will be throwing away our wallets and dejunking our pockets then.
Except for the OPO people and the unfortunate customers that bought their phones.

As for so called 'software support', it's an LG device with a version of Android specifically tailored by them (LG) for this device.
So any needed support for said display, such as piping messages, notifications or maybe even used as a front mounted flash for the front camera, will no doubt be supplied by the tailored version of Android, or at least easily implemented via Androids more open (than most) nature.

Think notifications or scrolling text messages or twitter feeds (for example) without the main (large) screen turning on, and you have an efficient focused notification system. Other possibilities for its usage are pretty diverse, to say the least.
