GoPro announces new HERO+ with Wi-Fi, drops HERO4 Session price by $100

28 September, 2015
GoPro has announced a new camera in its entry-level HERO series of cameras. Previously, there was just the HERO, which was the company's cheapest camera at $129.99 but if you wanted Wi-Fi connectivity you would have to shell out for the more expensive HERO+ LCD, which was a lot more expensive at $299.99.

Go buy an SJ5000x. It can definitely compete with GoPro.

I have seen many copy of GoPro camera. They are just as good and cheaper. This is selling the brand and not the function. $299.99 for a GoPro is ridiculous unless you really doing something sporty with it.

how can adding a wifi chipset cost $70, the messed up pricing, makes sony's cameras seem a much better option than a gopro.

The Xiaomi Yi & SJ Cam SJ 4000 are the best alternative action cams for the Go Pro.
