Another camera update? nothing new here folks . . . just keep on trucking.

Ok, so at this point HTC should have brought out the M9 with the 21 mega pix camera from the get go.

now htc has the best android phone.it's really perfect.cpu is very strong and is better than SD810,finger print is the fastest and better than iphone6 and s6.gpu is a little lower than adreno 330 and now it is in 5th or 6th range.screen is awesome, sound is excellent, and now camera is the best if we put lumia 950 and 950 xl away.and most important is UI that htc has the best, fastest and stronger UI in android.for sure it's my next phones

Blackberry passport has better speakers with hd call quality.

That's sad for htc, nothing new. Now people won't buy m9+ at all if this is out. And the design is really getting repetitive. All htc devices look similar and all share the same problem, non exceptional cameras.
M9 was being commercialed for it's speakers but they were a letdown. Too much clarity that ruins the bass output and average volume levels. Other than that it's camera wasn't as good as the others so as expected, M9 fail to sell well. So htc released M9+ and in order to defend M9 sales they had to release it only in selected regions. And again it failed. Now M9++ wtf?
They are going down quickly by disappointing their fans again and again, I expect current M9+ users feeling cheated and I can't blame them.

So, which one is the "hero" product to save HTC?
            This or Butterfly 3?
            Or A9???

I have high hopes the Snapdragon 820 will put Qualcomm back on the map after something of a disappointing year, they are at their best when using they're own custom designs.

Is HTC serious with the price tag?

Blu Pure XL has the same specs cost $350. I know I know, it's BLU. Not like HTC is good. BLU probably has a higher book value than HTC.

AnonD-276592, 29 Sep 2015Wasted phone, why MTK?Cheap I guess, It's more or less up to the job CPU wise, but the GPU is even less suited to pushing the pixels of a 2k screen than the Adreno 330 was in the LG G3. Gaming on this thing would be awful.

They're trying to keep the costs down can't blame them. Most people don't need faster processor if all they do is text, email, and photo which is what the phone is targeting.

It is a CAPACITIVE fingerprint scanner. You can use it directly to unlock the phone (no need to press the power button). This is way faster than the implementation on iPhones and Galaxy S6s.

Never again will I buy HTC. I have been a huge fan of HTC since the M7. I bought the M7, M8 and currently using the M9+. I have a choice of getting a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge as it is cheaper than the m9+ but I didn't just to save HTC. Hearing this news makes my heart break. The fact that my phone is barely 6months and now they have upgraded the camera module made me feel shortchanged. Sorry, HTC. You are going down the drain. You just lost one loyal customer.

I must admit that one of my earlier smart phones was HTC but that was then. I guess HTC has lost its touch with originality after M8 flop and now they are playing the "Catch-up" game.
