Now that's a REAL phone! Sony and Aquos are the only interesting manufacturers left. Everyone else thinks bigger is better, which is completely untrue.

Sony develop adaptive static screen as in lowering the screen refresh rate when it could and goes total static for when no activity (as in you're reading something). All of that is conserve battery.
Going the other way around will kill the battery. I mean, surely there are alot 120 fps video out there or android games that require or even capable to do 120fps...

I had Sharp SH-03G // and very disappointed, used it from new less , than one month, was put for night on charger and the phone at morning restarted and completely dead, without any reason, now I don't know how it repair in UK , and honestly it worked very slow for Snapdragon 810, they downclocked all Cores to 1.55GHz, very nice design , this lamps attracting attention, but reliability very poor!

Sharp Crystal for example (a 5incher) is... morein fact it's only sharp doing that. the crystal falls just shy of 79% at 78.5%, the crystal2 even further behind. the other ones were sharp released for the various jp telco's which were essentially the same base display with slightly different casing. i would have said to name anyone outside of sharp (which would exclude their jp telco range) as a hardcore mode for picking 10 but that would have been all but impossible. you won't see much of anyone (yet!) with such high screen ratios on a smartphone.

But that "old" technology was 60hz and with Sharps 120Hz should look more awsome! :)

I was a Sharp fan since Symbian was king back in the day. Too bad the good ones are for Jalan only..

I for one find the lack of top speced phones in phone sized bodies more annoying.
Most companies (outside Japan) seems to think that all flagship devices must be for two hand operation only (or for people with really big hands)

This is ridiculous..the tech is already there but the rest of the world is stuck with sub par display, can anyone just shot the guy in charge of the marketing. Enough teasing the rest of us deserve sum luv too..

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2015some have 79-81%? okay. name 10 of themMostly sharp ones. Sharp Crystal for example (a 5incher) is around 79%. A lot from Sharp's line is around the 80% mark indeed. In fact I don't know any other manufacturer doing that, most top at around 75% (which IMO is quite low especially if we talk about a phablet).
