VocalIQ speech recognition startup is now part of the Apple family

Buying out a promising startup has always been a huge part of the tech world and a major catalyst for development. Big players, such as Apple know this better than anyone and don't shy away from absorbing prospective initiatives. It the latest such deal, Cupertino has now found itself in control of the U.K.-based start-up VocalIQ, which has been doing innovative work in the field of advanced speech recognition through machine learning.

For example everyone else says they use corning gorrila glass, but apple says they use 'ion strengthened glass', and I've seen my fair share of Apple fanatics who 'fall for it' (as the original poster said) and think Apple uses some superior glass. I've never seen anyone else make such claims before.

He thinks companies shouldn't claim the technology gained from acquisitions as their own even if they buy the IP. Funny thing is he or any other iHater isn't on the Samsung articles about s-pay saying the same thing.

    Apple never claimed Gorilla Glass as their own or samsung's 14nm process. Companies generally don't name all the companies who have components in their device. Take Samsung's Air Touch or whatever they called it. It wasn't their technology, but the fanboys swallowed it entirely. They never mentioned the Israeli company that created it. Or the s pen. I don't see Wacom's name emblazoned on any of their Note ads.

Its a fact that Apple does that, they're not even willing to say they use gorrila glass if I remember correctly, or Samsung's 14nm technology, or pretty much anything else.

Siri is going to be sentient soon, she's already become much smarter with iOS 9 can't wait for her to get even smarter through this small companies contributions :) lol

                6 months down the line Apple announces that it's invented something new (which the small company actually invented) and all the isheep fall for the utter nonsense.

                It's like playing soccer and hanging on the goal line to put your foot to a goal that someone else has worked for and actually scored.
